I've read all of his novels and found that By far Blind Fall was very serious and very "butch'? Very much unlike some of his earlier books, still very good. It deals primarily with homophobia and far less on any sensual aspects.

I read his Light Before Day and I loved it...I wanted to read Blind Fall but in our country...it's very expensive. I love him, I must admit. He is the reason why my discrimination for gays left me. Not only that he is handsome but he is also a great novelist like his mother who is also my idol, I do wish to read more of his works some day! XDD

Christopher Rice exceeds his potential and his mother, Anne Rice's books by a long shot. Christopher Rice inspires many including myself to become a writer with no limits. Many try to bring him down with the childish banter and foolish threats but he will forever be a true icon to the gay community and to me. All of his books have been flawless in their nature. I would really appreciate people to keep their jealously from tainting their very poor judgement of him and his fantastic books.

What is troubling with Christopher Rice is that he is hocking books aided by his mothre's name,yet has never really distanced himself from his mother and become his own person.

I can find a picture of him with his mother quite easly on the net,yet can one find an example of his distain for his mother talking to James Dobson? Does this bother him. How he can maintain a relationship with a mother who must believe or at least associates with those who believe that gays are going to hell amazes me.

It's hard to imagine that Ms. Rice is anti-gay though, considering the homosexual undertones in so many of her novels....strange.

I just find it strange that the great life lesson that Chris' mother learned from raising a gay son is that she should gravitate towarde a church that is so homophobic rather then, for example, becoming an Episcopalian or some other mainsteam tolerant church. The fact that Chris has not spoken out to clearly voice his disagreement and disapointment with his his mothers odd conversion means that I will never read a book of his.

I love Christopher Rice. He is one of my favorite authors, if not the. I find him adorable and his writing is amazing. Wonderful. I have all of his novels and find it exciting to buy his next novel. Just got finished reading Blind Fall and it was terrific. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time i was reading and could not put it down, and as a major fan of Chris's work i look forward to his next book. Keep up the fantastic work Chris.

The interesting part about this concept is that it's highly plausible.  From my time in the Marine Corps every gay Marine that I knew was in the Infantry. I would say roughly 1/3rd of the Infantry Marines that I knew, while serving in The Corps, were homosexuals. So coming from a Marine, I would honestly say that Marine would still receive the support especially a Recon Marine.
