@lolvely1 It is not easy to get the back off. I had to search on YouTube and find a video and that person showed me how. Today I got the Samsung Intercept and thank God the back comes off easy from it.
@hnbbs Thanks, I didn't want to risk damaging the phone for a guess. I know you're going to get a lot of this, but is the Intercept, worth it? Also, is there any real comparison, between the two? I just don't want to hear I wasted my money on the LG Rumor Touch XD.....
@lolvely1 all u do is put pressure on the back plate and slide it upwards. it clicks when it comes open then u pick the plate up off the back. to get the stupid battery out theres a little tab hole underneath the speacker you put ur finger nail in and pull the battery out. this fool is just an old idiot with a piece of technology that is too smart for him. i woulda laughed sooo hard if he would have broke the phone trying to pry the battery out the wrong way when its so simple.
Are u really that stupid. theres an arrow on the bottom of the back of the phone. i think with all ur experience at life with u being 50 or something that u should know wat an arrow symbolizes. and if that happens again the easiest way to fix it is to smear peanut butter on the keeypad and light it on fire

@randumbtxter I think it is worth it. But you know him. I do not use the phone much. Pretty rare for me to use any phone. So you might want to read some of the other comments. Also Radio Shack is very good, I think, about returns. So if it turned out that he had problems using it.. for some reason.. I think they would take it back.. give a credit or something so he could get something else. It is a nice little phone. Like I have said..It is not one of the new super phones.
I haue the phone and so far I love it plays youtube most of the time.In fact I just watched and posted from my rumor touch right now.I only wish it had more apps.:(

I am in Fort Worth and this month it has been over 100 all month and most days 104 degrees. I want to know what time the bus is going to get to the bus stop. You should have watched the other video. @MissFilipinaNinja Yes, I think it is a good phone. You have to keep in mind the price and the big factor is that you can get unlimited data for $25.00 a month. I had a problem getting the Opera Mini to install. After I got it installed I think it may have fixed that lock up problem. Right now I am happy with the phone. Again for the price you can not beat it. It is NOT an iPhone but it is a hell of a good device for the price.

Also maybe your getting it with a different plan or something. Not sure. But I do like the phone. Of course I keep looking at the real fancy smart phones and thinking about them. But this phone and service I can afford.

After doing some searching around, I'm finding that in general, that phone is getting horrible reviews (1 to 1 1/2 stars and such) and issues with it locking up seem common. Can you take it back and exchange it for a different phone or even go to a different company? I've always had bad experiences with LG phones myself (3 so far, all of them were horrible).

@hnbbs The Droid is pretty popular too. Not familiar with the HTC but I liked Sprint when we used them as a carrier back a few years ago. That's the only downfall of the iPhone, being stuck with AT&T, luckily the service is okay in this part of the country but I understand out in San Francisco it's terrible.

After doing some searching around, I'm finding that in general, that phone is getting horrible reviews (1 to 1 1/2 stars and such) and issues with it locking up seem common.
