good, onformative video. as per the final comment, that Oakland has nothing for kids to do....well, they do have school for them to do...thousands of kids are truant daily, on our streets messing things up. the OPD juvenile desk is vacant, along with the fingerprint lab, misdemeanor courts, and the Mayor's office.

i can only guess that these schools might not be such great places to be. many of this states worst schools leave kids worrying about how to survive, not giving them a hopeful learning environment. No wonder kids don't go, i wouldn't.

You are right that kids need good families, but to be honest, i don't know why anyone would stay in such a city. My mom was in poverty but still managed to get herself and three kids to a rural environment where she knew nobody but was at least safe.

Once upon a time Oakland used to be a safe city. Oakland started to fall apart in the late 60's but was nowhere near as bad as it's today. It's one NUTTY city. Not a good place to raise kids.
