to be honest v1273 is better to take video at night,and has min.shatter 8 second,every thing else sony is the best:video quality,5 optical zoom,better optical stabilization and STEREO sound!

How did you save the quality? I uploaded a video on youtube, but the quality is BAD! There is no button for switching to high quality :-( The vids are looking awesome at my mac, but it's a disappointment to watch them here... The vids i made with my old exilim have been a lot better :-( Any idea why?

Does the V1273 allow you to modify the exposure when you are in video mode? I have the V1253 you see, and it doesn't let me change the exposure.

Yea, the Cam has trouble in certain lighting conditions, a problem I did not have with my v1253.
