  • This video is a complete lie. I dont think that you have ever been to a low cost clic. I am the technician at a low cost spay neuter clinic and let me tell you everything that you said we dont do that we do. We do have a laser unit. we also have a monitor that does SPO2, Heart Rate, EKG, Respiration's, and blood pressure. we also dont use cheap anesthetics and take it very seriously. We gown and scrub before every procedure. We control pain before and after surgery. We also send home pain meds

  • @larryb7391 We also have a new pack for every single pt i mean y wouldn't we thats how diseases are spread.

I cant believe that every vet charges so much money for a honestly simple procedure that no matter what the animal has to get done. Especially cat neuters are the easiest but yet it costs so much people dont do it. Cant believe that a DVM would bash down a clinic that helps the community out. That DVM must be really desperate for money and very greedy. Well thats all i have to say.

  • @larryb7391 Just because this does not occur in your clinic does not make it a lie. I am very happy to hear that your discounted services do not translate into less quality care, but unfortunately, your clinic is the exception, not the norm.

  • Less expensive usually = less safe for your pet Keep in mind that low cost spay/neuter clinics are usually not placing IV catheters, using IV fluids, intubating patients, using pain control, and doing monitoring during anesthesia. Inhalant anesthetics can lower blood pressure enough to damage the kidneys. Kidney damage doesn't show up until later in life when 75% of the function is lost.

All spay/neuter surgeries are not the same!

  • Have you ever set foot in a low cost clinic? Do you understand that bashing other vets/clinics is uneithical as hell? By describing your clinic, you are implying that low cost places don't use such equipment or sterile technique?! Vet charges have become ridiculous: THIS is why people are turning to low cost clinics. What good is it to descibe all that if the majority of people cannot afford the prices you charge? Ridiculous self serving video.

  • @bkrbkrl I have more than set foot in discount veterinary clinics, I HAVE WORKED AT THEM. Moonlighting to make extra cash in the early years of my career, a did per diem work at a few - any never failed to be appalled at what I saw. I have techs that have worked at discount veterinary that have given me first hand accounts of discount veterinary clinics: rarely ever good. It is not unethical to bash clinics that attract customers with cheap prices, sell them the BS that what they do is

  • @bkrbkrl is on par with and with the same quality as those of us that do it right. It is not just VERY ethical to inform people that like in everything else, with dscount surgery, you usually get what you py for. As as far as the majority of people not being able to afford the prices I charge for quality surgery - I think you would have a different view if you saw my surgery schedule on my two designated surgery per week. For people that consider their pet a beloved family member, they

  • @bkrbkrl gladly pay a little more, having the piece of mind that their pet gets a fresh surgery pack, the best suture materials, a fully scrubbed surgeon, a high tech heart monitor, a post op laser treatment, incision foam to speed healing and prevent infection, and the best pain management post op. If you think that all this occurs at discount veterinary clinics, you are deluded and yourself have not set foot in one of them.

  • Hi Roger, very interesting info on discount veterinarians. By the way, I can say the difference of the cut on Bella from her dog bite compared to when another vet removed a tumor with the same incision length and number of stitches in 2007 there is a HUGE difference. Your work from only a couple months ago barely is noticable compared to the other one. My mother says you should have been a plastic surgeon, I replied, that would be a great loss to veterinary medicine.

  • @igrescuefl So glad it turned out well, and thanks for the kind words!
