  • gotta go to this place, is anyone goin to the CHILDREN IN NEED event on the 19th of november?

  • @azb0111 They've recently moved to an even bigger and professionaly lit venue. Cant make the CIN event but I am trying to organise another trip down there come next April.

  • Retro awesomeness! :o) I remember playing the Star Wars pinball machine in Germany. Costed 5 marks per play!

  • That place looks like a lot of fun. It's too bad that they don't have arcades around much any more. I love the classic machines!

  • The great thing is the guy who owns it is constantly repairing and replacing the cabs with totally different ones. So no 2 visits are ever the same.

  • Great video Lorf, hope you got plenty of time to play the machines still! Wish there was something like that up north.

  • Oh yes :) I was there for a good 6 hours and played 99% of the stuff on show. I even have blisters from too much time on Point Blank 2!

  • i notice that the Outrunners game is frozen on part one but is working on part 2. How did that happen?

  • There was a few guys out back who were changing boards throughout the day and making repairs as things died.

  • Great vid matey - looks like a top day out :)

  • You really made a huge trip and I really glad you enjoyed yourself. This video is such a great effort that you get free entry next time!

  • Thanks and it was def worth it! :)

  • Did you 'really' film that intro before you set-off on your mammoth trip? If you did, you're even more dedicated than I thought!

Great editing, and some superb footage. You really capture the atmosphere of the day. Fantastic!

  • I'm afraid I really am that insane :s Thankfully I stopped short of doing a film whilst I stopped at the motorway services on the way down!

  • That place looks like a gamers heaven. Great video. I would have been on that Gunbird machine and that Mortal Kombat 2 machine. Very cool.

  • How much was it to get in? I gather the games are free to play?

  • Organised a group of people across the Rllmuk, Jamma+ and Retro Gamer forums. Came to £12 a head. All the games are set to free play or failing that you can just hit the credit button inside the coin slot of each to add more.

  • This place looks pretty awesome.

  • Apologies for the gloomy look but there's no night mode on my cam :( But it really was a fantastic place to visit!
