  • according to evolution, bears and dogs were originally the same creature!

they named the prehistoric fossil animal "beardog"

  • This is just to cute. No more hugs please lol.

  • This is the cutest thing ever!

The funny part is when the one polar bear is like hugging the husky... the husky is like "okay... enough hugs!" lol

Ohh and I just realized that polar bears have long necks. xP

  • My two favorite animals playing with each other naturally?!?! That's awesome!!! I think I just died and went to my own personal heaven :D

  • At 1:51 it looks like the bear is attempting to mount the wolf.

  • @fringelife LOL the husky is like, "ahhh I can't breath!"

  • I think the friendliness is just a response to like instincts. If those dogs were poodles or terriers they woulda been torn to shreds. The huskies(Or are those actually malamutes?) and the bears probably get along so well because theyve been sharing the same environment for centuries.

  • Amazing.. Mine two alaskanhuskies would just wet themselves in that kind a situation.

  • Isaiah 11:6-7 NASB - [6] And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, And the leopard will lie down with the young goat, And the calf and the young lionand the fatling together; And a little boy will lead them. [7] Also the cow and the bear will graze, Their young will lie down together, And the lion will eat straw like the ox.

  • @MahanaimCh AMEN! :) :) :) :)

  • whats the name of the song at the end of the video = ) ?

  • Is this near Churchill?

  • I don't think so, reason being it would have happened during the first encounter, if anything they will become more friendly with the dogs.

  • People have to realize that polar bears are solitary animals and probably get lonely for some company just my guess, the fact that these dogs are as hairy as the polar bear might have something to do with it, maybe it looks at the dog as kin who knows

just a freak of nature or maybe not, it is very touching.

  • A cracker shell is basically a shotgun round that deploys a big firecracker instead of shot or a slug. They'll fly for a couple of hundred feet before detonating. They're used to scare birds, or up here in the frozen north as a non lethal bear-scare.

  • What the hell is a cracker shell?

  • i want a bear hug too...

  • Now THAT'S what I call a bear hug.

I could do with one of those bear hugs myself right about now.

  • 1.50 the bear is looking to do it doggy style haha

  • Amazing! I don't know why anyone would dislike this video. I don't see anything wrong with it.

  • I agree with cavalrytm. I thought this was cute at first but a little research and I found this is a very controversial dog owner.

  • WOW! I love your video***

  • this is sooooo beautiful,,,,,when will us humans learn to know our place here.

  • /watch?v=i3tX1Hy4FJM

  • What the guy doesn't understand is that his dogs are at incredible risk of being strangled to death by those polar bears because they are attached to chains. At several points in this video you can see the dogs being pulled by the bears and their necks are being strangled by the chain. Unchain the dogs, or don't allow this. Some people just don't use their heads at all.

  • @cavalrytm obv. doesnt' own a husky. these dogs are tougher than your typical city dwelling sweater wearing min-pins. i have an alaskan husky, and she dishes it and takes it from my jindo like you wouldn't believe.

  • sooo beautiful and sweet,, i have huskies all animals wild or not should be treated with kidness and love

  • Bear: duhh oh boy what a cute little doggy, just what I always wanted I will name him George and I will huig him and pet him and squeeze him and give him security like a mother hen

Dog: excuse me you are hurting me, please let me go

  • at 0:151 I swear the caption is ''hey baby, you want a threesome''

  • that is so cute . we should all pay attention to our earth and protect it so we can continue to see photos like this. AMAZING!!!!

  • I worry, but so amazingly cute...gulp.

  • so amazingly cute but so-o-o scary...gulp.

  • oh man, that guy is Grizzly Man #2, i.e. n99a gonna get eaten by a polar bear

  • the white dog seems really afraid >< but the first ones were all cute playing

  • How very, very cool!

  • Ow my god raaaaaape!!!! ^^

  • 4:13 is cute

  • just getting ready to eat the dog

  • bear:lets play

    dog: i dont want to

bear: common i want to play

dog: really i dont want to

    bear: dont be so selfish

    dog:ok lets play

  • anyone thinks the guy at the beginning look like an older survivor man??? form a distance.

  • anyone thinks the guy at the beginning look like an older survivor man???

  • lol, at around 1:30 that bear is just cuddling the hell out of that husky... how sweet

  • beautiful--nature is wonderful--if we would just let them be!

  • It's amazing, but it might be put in the context of evolution. Scientists have established that bears and dogs/wolves had a common ancestry some 40 millions years ago. There may be some sort of common ''sensibility'' and a common way of communicating between these two contemporary animal species.

I tend to believe that it might ressemble the way humans and higher monkeys can interact and relate to each other.

  • Cette vidéo est très intéressante. Merci de nous l'avoir fait partager !

  • this a same behavior of a lonely lioness in African preserve

female lion was only lion in a preserve. she came across photogrphers and laid on her back and wanted to be near someone that did no run away. After 2 years male lines were brought to the preserve

  • SHUT THE FUCK UP! The damn guy wont stop talking when im watching something awesome

  • unbelievable!!! what could explain this behavior? maybe the polar bear has just had a huge meal of salmon & would like to simply digest & play? awesome!!!

  • It's neat how the bears know not to be too rough on the dogs.

  • 1:48 thats mating behavior maybe they were just horney or there was a female huskey in heat that made then friendly

  • Brian's dogs are pure Canadian Eskimo Dog's

  • this is Brine's dog in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada;

Local people said Brain raised these dogs for sale. but his original purpose was to feed bears (I am not sure if I heard it right).

I've just come back from there. When we got there, we saw a bear about 80 meters away from us, and the dogs were around us.

I don't know why, the dogs stopped barking and started WOOOOOOing when they saw the bear. I guess they might be scared when saw the bear, or telling the bear human-beings are around.

  • uh guys... that is mating behavior by a young bear... (worked in Zoo)

  • no animals are meant to fight, they are actually here to teach humans about compassion, unconditional love, just being, kindness and loyalty.. We seriously need to stop suppressing and mistreating them...

isnt the bear a relative of the dog..?

  • too bad there is no more footage of this.. or i just cant find it.. i could watch them playing for hours and hours.. so rare cuteness!

  • Great Video! Thank you.

  • Lets learn something from those animals.

  • wow very cool, only how many dogs are killed each year by polar bears? I must say that i feel very sorry for that one dog, and could they be just testing them to see if they have enough meat on them to eat? lol

  • @hotsaucemmmm dogs have a very heavy meat, its not worth to fight a wolf or a dog just to eat it.

  • aww ;)

  • i wonder at 1;20 if the dog hiked his leg and did one in his face if he have reacted violently?

  • Duh! Those are the Coca-Cola Polar Bears!

  • Humans usually sell wild animals short. Anyone respectful with a pet knows different. They DO have souls and souls need interaction and play. I remember the newspaper article about a snake that was always fed frozen mice and decided to stop eating. So the zoo keepers decided to put in a live mouse...the snake befriended the mouse and became friends.

Polar Bears ARE marvelous creatures and SHOULD be protected.

  • @mitchhopson LOSER!

  • I think the dog that gets 'hugged' and bitten on its neck was probably not so cool with the attention... But its interesting the bears choose to play when not hungry rather than just ignore

  • that is so cute

  • I cant see why people shoot polar bears! I'm a grown man but I do cry over the polar bears. I wish it was fair game to hunt the people who hunt polar bears.

  • all say cute,adorable,etc...but nobody thinks dogs could be scared, they are tie, can't fight ,they can't run away, what if the bear don't find its daily seal?

  • Adfmirable, se llevan mejor que nuestros politicos!

  • that's so cute ! :D

i love how the polar bear was trying to get the dog's leash x)

  • Cutest thing I ever saw

  • 1:35 haahaaa quesquil veut lui faire XDDD

  • LOL THAT BEARS LIKE THIS IS MY DOG GET AWAY lol

  • For me it raises the interesting question: is play more likely/important to predators than non-predators. I think it probably is....

Which, in a way, is a little eerie.

    1) WE love to play. Meaning there is a substantial predator element in us.

    2) Something so much fun and benign is nevertheless connected with something....brutal.

  • Perhaps play also has to do with competition; the predatory animals also tend to be social, and play likely aids in forming social bonds within the group, while also establishing dominance in a relatively peaceful manner.

  • Polar bears would be considered more "solitary" than "social."

I still think that play is more prevalent in predators than non-predators; although it does occur even in prey animals.

  • One thing that's undeniably cool is that we do continue to learn totally new and surprising things about animal behavior that we never would have imagined before.

It IS definitely true that predators of different species are MOST likely to try to FIGHT and KILL each other, because they see each other as competitors.

  • U should go have a lookat Stuart Brown talking about play.

  • Great vid. There's something joyful about seeing these animals not behaving "naturally".

  • has all content as "wild polar bear meets husky" but way more info and a lot more informative

  • dog pwn bear
