You know such things tend to have a physiological impact on people's views and opinions. Moreover, it has nothing to do with feeling like he's arrived, it's all about comfort, I don't think he'd feel comfortable with a black woman nor do I think he's ever had a preference for them, which would have reigned true whether or not he became a professional athlete.
