  • 425 Horse... What a sick joke... probably closer to 600+ horse

  • Music to my ears!

  • babbyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • whats the song called you used from 1:05 to end? o.o

  • @DRIFTking95M Sure sounds like Mötley Crüe

  • @tumppu1975 And I mean Wild Side for the song

  • Not bad.

  • So why haven't you destroyed it with 21 inch wheels?

  • @Samsgarden I am waiting for the Zebra interior to come in and the 35 profile tires ;)

  • It's just very beautiful...

  • You don't see any production car anymore with a 13.5 - 1 compression ratio. 4-7 mpg but if you are lucky enough to own one, it means nothing.

  • Loved it!! That made me laugh..no car in England (where I am) has ever produced such a beautiful car. And noise. Amen to that.

  • That was just plain beautiful man... Back in the day, a good buddy of mine had a 'Cuda with the offset quads... Can ya take the C note from the glove box during 1st & 2nd ??? LOL... Very cool vid....

  • ...wow...

  • Sounds like a pissed off mountain lion. Mopar had their act together back in the day. Cold-blooded engines but man could they really light em up! Nice ride.

  • dude, I totally jizzed in my pants at 0:54, beautiful sounding engine! nice song choice!! aaaahhh I envy you

  • the old 426 hemi is rare and nothing like the new 5.7 hemi in mostly every dodge truck/suv

  • what is it that song ?

  • @MrYOU23TUBE Kickstart my heart by Motley Crue

  • @GMdrivingMOPARguy Actually, that's "Wild Side" by Motley Crue.

  • @jhamilton07 You're right, my bad. I goofed.

  • @MrYOU23TUBE Wild side by motley crue

  • Love this car...(im usually a ford guy)

  • The comments below gave me a bad headache. Stamping rare codes on an otherwise common VIN would really just take away from the owners of the REAL thing.

  • awe man!! shes a dream car!! looks and sounds just absolutely amazing!!

  • brale cuje se k'o krunjac xDDD

  • @r3dph0n3 WOW!! pretty clueless post. First, the modern Hemi is a Hemi in name only, as opposed to the hemispherical heads that made the engine famous in the 60s and first 2 years of the 70s. Saying this car is not rare, cause they call the motor in a new SRT challenger or Jeep a Hemi is really reallly dumb. Who cares?

Second they only made around 24k 'Cudas of which only 625 had the Hemi, 284 were 4 speeds like this...making this the rarest 1970 Cuda....and the only 1 in this color combo

  • @zgusto ok buy a 318 car drop in a crate Hemi and 4 speed in it

and shoot it this color and BINGO there will be 2 of them

sorry I dont think they are worth as much as people pay

I mean if they are so great why didnt people buy them like pancakes

    like the camaro?

  • @r3dph0n3 no not Bingo, that would be a fake. This is a real documented Hemicuda in it's factory colors. Original fender tag, unique Hemi vin, and verified and inspected by Galen Govier. It will always be the ONLY one. As far as price, they are only worth what people will pay for them. but since I sold my 71 440-6 cuda ,one of one, for 260k; what you think they are worth means nothing. And as far as why they sold less, Mopar always did...they were way smaller than GM and it's divisions.

  • @zgusto Ok, I can Buy a Kit camaro car and have the VIN stamped as a Z28 car

So why cant people a Kit Cuda and have the VIN stamped as a HEMI?

  • @r3dph0n3 Seriously, you are a troll. You would still have a fake, restamping does not make it rea;, it just makes you a criminal (fraud). And a restamp is usually easy to spot (bad broach marks, fonts) plus hidden vins and other tell tale signs of what makes a car a car. What is your point?? You started by saying that a Hemicuda is not real...now your talking about making clones??? get a life...bye....blocked....

  • @r3dph0n3

That's irrelevant. Value is independent of your opinion.

  • @r3dph0n3 and just to give you a comparison they built over 53k Chevrolet Chevelle SSs of which 4475 were 454s (the top engine) around 8 times the amount of the Top Cuda (652 built)...This is one of the most desireable and rarest muscle cars of all time.

  • @zgusto I wouldn't say the 454 was Chevy's top engine, I'd have to give that Title to the 427

  • @Heavymetallord1 I would agree that the 427 is top dog, more specifically either the ZL1 or the Vette L88,,,,,,but.......the discussion above is for RPO motors in the Chevelle. (so Yenko 427s don't count)

  • @r3dph0n3 "hemi" doesnt mean what it used to. i have much more respect for the hemi engines from the 60s and early 70s as opposed to the hemi badge on dodge products today i could care less about.

  • @r3dph0n3 The 426 hemi was only put into ~11000 cars between 1966 and 1971. An original hemi car with this engine is very rare today. The modern 5.7, 6.1, and 6.4(392) hemis are quite common in new cars, trucks, and SUVs. This Cuda features the very rare 426 hemi not the common new one.

  • @r3dph0n3 go back and play with your matchbox cars, "most common engine these days on cars and trucks" apfttt....i bet you 9 out of 10 "hemi drivers" 'nowadays' don't even know what hemi means. and 99 out of a 100 don't know what the difference is between a hemi and a regular engine.

  • @r3dph0n3 You're thinking of the 3G hemi, son. The 2G hemi IS rare. Only 10,000 were made. Very few exist today.

  • @r3dph0n3 Do you have any idea of what you are talking about? Today's hemi engines have nothing to do with vintage hemis, particularly the Street Hemi of 1966-1971. These engines and their race brothers were known for their ability to not only come strong from the factory, but could be built to have hundreds of horsepower MORE than stock, even powering dragsters. The engineering in the 66-71 Street Hemi was, and is, legendary. Engines needing work can easily be over $10,000 in value.

  • @r3dph0n3 Just a name now, nothing like the old ones.

  • @r3dph0n3 Your an idiot.

  • @r3dph0n3 you're a real dumbass.

  • @r3dph0n3 Are you for real....you must be a teenager.

  • @r3dph0n3 hijo de remil puta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @r3dph0n3 No tenes ni idea lo que es un HEMI pedaso de pelotudo!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @r3dph0n3 You stupid fuck. The new "Hemi" engines are not real Hemis. Real Hemis have hemisphere combustion chamber whereas today's trucks and cars do not.

  • @r3dph0n3 WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY MODELED THEM AFTER JACK ASS

  • @r3dph0n3 im gonna go kick your father in the nuts so he can never foul the earth with another little ignorant shit like you

  • @r3dph0n3 one word...dumbass....and dumbass got owned.

  • @r3dph0n3 shows how much you know about muscle cars

  • @r3dph0n3 dude im not trying to sound like an asshole, but you are completely wrong, the new hemi motor does not really live up to the original name for the real hemi 50s-71 had hemispherical combustion heads, given the name hemi and the new ones do not have.. and also any old mopar with the hemi motor are one of the most desirable cars around due to how rare they are. and before you comment about something you don`t fully know about just don`t do it .

  • it looks like a movie trailer or something lol !

  • MOPOWER!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Love the video sweet car:)

  • nice!!!!.....I like to see people actually get these cars out and put them through their paces instead of leaving them always sitting under a car cover in the garage. good burnout, and the car sounded great

  • @gottaluvthat240B Thanks for getting it!

  • I had a chance to buy an all orig. 70' Hemi Cuda in 1983 from Dave Jones for 10K but I was just out of highschool and couldn't swing it.

  • That really lays down the rubber nicely/easily! Hemi's are so cool!

  • Nice very nice. They dont make em like this no more!!!

  • drive it like you stole it.. did you steal it?? haha sweet ride

  • Twenty4dupont Naw, you must be thinking of the sound of that big black 440

during the few occasions that they actually had to accelerate to follow the

ford. The Charger was drowning out the ford. I think much of the screeching

of tires was the Dodge braking. The driver of the Dodge stated in a car mag.

interview that they had to keep slowing it down because it was constantly

gaining on the little ford. It sounded a lot like an inline 6 with dual pipes 2 me.

  • zgusto I'm not a Pontiac guy, but if your 4 are good I would consider

taking them them as a downpayment on a good car.

  • @williamwayneboyd What would that good car be? I love a good car! Must be pretty sweet since my 4 Pontiacs are conservatlitely worth north of 300k.....so as a 20% downpayment that would be 1.5 million...Mclaren F1....Enzo...Bugatti......let me know what you have and maybe we can make a deal ;)

  • That exhaust sounds like the exhaust from the mustang in the movie Bullitt

  • @SFBay69 1.Deebo said you have a turbo on your car2. Had a mid 11s Fox Body Mustang that had little work done to it.... I have a 69 Charger in the garage still going through a rebuild, so stfu.

  • A 10 second turbo car isn't impressive

  • Comment removed

  • Very easy to get a mopar in the 8s jackass.

  • I'm a Pontiac,nice Cuda and a kick ass video.

  • @1971transam455ho I am pontiac guy myself!! Ponchos rule. Have 2 GTOs and 2 TAs. You should check out the onboard video of my Judge, here on you tube....

  • Fuck!! that was real America!!!!!!!!!!!! style and power

  • @SFBay69 Cool Story Bro, Vids or it didn't happen

  • smoke those bias tires :)))

  • We can all thank microsoft for making windows movie maker available to everyone with a computer....

  • @UOGSammich Here here, I have fun (when I have time ;( ) with that program. You can see it used more in my 70 GTO ride along....check it out.

  • I feel sorry for everyone who doesn't own this car. myself included.

i feel even worse for the people who stop at the lights next to this beast.

and i feel even more worse for the dumbass ricers who think they actually have the slightest chance of winning when the lights hit green.

  • @MrSheissen1. Whats your nova worth today? And whats this Cuda worth? And how much booty did you get in a nova as opposed to a gorgeous comp orange Hemi Cuda? I rest my case.

  • Any small block novas of the period would give them an ass whooping on the street.

  • @MrSheissen1 Don't be ignorant. A stock small block Nova (which, I respect, but are a little ugly) would be demolished by a stock Hemicuda...and like wise, a day 2 warmed over Nova 350 would be crushed by a Hemicuda with similar mods.

It's not that tough, do the math with Horsepower to weight ratio, even the light weight Nova can not overcome the horseopower and torque of the Hemi packaged in a Cuda.

I just sold an LT- 1 Camaro, allowingg me to own and drive both, side by side for years..

  • @zgusto Apples to apples comparison.

66 L-79 chevy II's with the right tune, ran low 12's back in the day. It wasnt hard nor uncommon for hemis to be looking at those dim little taillights. Not hard with a 1500 lb weight advantage. Even today I cruise the car shows and sucker many a big block owner into unfair fights. Ive never seen a period correct resto hemi crack 12's on street tires.

  • @zgusto haha please pardon my fellow chevy fan, he may have stretched it there. i respect dodge and their hemi monster. it would eat a small block for breakfast. The LS6 is a different story however. we have a displacment advantage along with a higher horsepower and torque rating. (and yes im very well aware that your 425 horsepower rating was lowballed, but so was ours ) and if you really wanted to make it comprable, we could add an extra carb since your hemi had dual quad carbs.

  • @speed150mph the other guy is a rabble rouser and clueless. Meanwhile, I am well aware of all the Chevy prowess. I am a multi marque collector and a fan of all. I have many friends with, Yenkos, LS6s, L88 vettes and ZL1s....Very fast! However, Chebbys, are a little too common for me ....even the LS6 production #s are considerably higher than my beloved Ram Air IV Pontiacs...ton of fraud in Chevy too.....(Love that PHS!!)

Meanwhile, I am always looking for an LS6 that I can steal...

    Enjoy!!

  • @MrSheissen1 I'm a Mopar Nut. I have learned to love all old cars. But you ignorant statement of a small block Nova whoopin this cars ass shows how freaking stupid you are and that your just a troll.

The 5 fastest production cars proven by Musclecar Magazine more than once:

    1. 1966 427 Cobra

    2. 1966 427 Corvette

    3. 1969 Road Runner 440 6-bbl

    4. 1970 Hemi Cuda

    5. 1969 Yenko Camaro.

  • The new Challengers are pretty.....but these cars are GORGEOUS!

  • Now that's Music in Stereo!! Crank it up!!

  • @nebligenwald yea, that extra 40 seconds you had to wait is tough :)

  • the sound was spectacular!

  • Muito forte. Poucos giros no motor e muitos giros no pneu.

  • ohh yeh crue!

  • brought a tear to my eye when he mashed the gas :)

  • Speaking of which I've got the Scat Dak v .5 almost set up. My first one had a 408 Stroker. This one (now) has a single turbo v6 running 6lbs of boost. Jumping from 180hp to 230Hp, with the cam and exhaust system.

  • @AmbassadorOfGlory Ya...try a mopar performance 426 Hemi..465 HP baseline to grow on. I bet your supercharged V6 doesn't make that...

  • @the934x4 My 87 GnX rapes hemi's...all years..Nothing special about slowpar.

  • @SFBay69 Let's put a turbo on the Hemi like your puny buick has and Then see what happens!

  • @deebo47 Get a job first so you can afford one. My puny buick runs 10's. GN for life. Fuck mopar.

  • Sounds like she broke free in three gears...nice. 15 Hondas tried this and...failed. Great Car man...

  • @zgusto great video nd the sound is amazing :)

  • How could anyone NOT like this? If so, then go jump in your hybrid that runs on strawberry douche and GTF outta here!

  • "Drive it like you stole it." that's a great way to describe my driving, got to remember this :-D

    Great Car!

  • sounds so hard

  • the 11 dumb ass's who disliked this video need to be shot in the balls!!!

  • @Tbolt1000TForLife LMAO! I agree and well said! Thanks.

  • @Tbolt1000TForLife 13 people drives hondas civic... so they're without balls.

    4-cylinders for kid (and ricers)

    6-cylinders for tuner

    V8 for real man.

  • @uroswolf what bout a V10?

  • @jingq2 ain't bad too... lets' ad there

V10 for men full of cash :p

and V12 for rich old man

  • @uroswolf i very much agree with that statement!

  • @uroswolf no V10s in my collection, however I do have a 392hp 6pd V12!

  • @uroswolf does this mean i should swap my stock supercharged v6 for a v8 drop in of some kind? =s

  • @Tbolt1000TForLife You can't shoot them in the balls if they don't have any. :)

  • @TheAnacondaPlan HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA true

  • @Tbolt1000TForLife thats impossible cos they dont have any balls :P

  • @Tbolt1000TForLife what BALLS

  • @19mg94 hahahahahaha yeah your right, also i would'nt be suprised if those now 34 dumbasses are green fags lol

  • why can dodge build the new ones with hp like the older ones DAM

  • Such a beautiful car...

  • Its great to see someone enjoy a classic muscle car of the past, instead of hauling it on a trailer, a trailer queen is like having a hot girlfriend, and never doing her.

  • Coolest Hemicuda vid. on youtube!

  • i was gettin Annoyed too,,, but the last two interuptions plus the burnout were cool,, then WILD SIDE by the CRUE came on, and all my anger from earlier in the video was forgotten,,, GREAT CAR MAN!

  • @dannycrowley96 a little style....a little anticipation....

  • " DAMN "

  • Great looking car, even being stock, and doing a burnout, it does look fast... Whish i could afford one of those, still i've got the modern alternative of one of these... A Hemi orange SRT8 Challenger, but it ain't the same... Take care of that beast!

  • mopar or nocar thats an R CODE CUDA damn worth alot of cash. fuck trailer queen it sounds hot

  • I don't blame you for turning down $300K. I sold my '70 440 six-pack Challenger and have regreted it ever since. There is NOOOO replacement for these cars. The rest are all food for these BEASTS ! No matter how nice they are ! I LIKE a lot of other cars but it's MOPARS that I love ! Mopar or NO car !

  • Haha, I LOVE the motto! My dad has a B5 Blue '70 Super Bee 4-speed A12 car, with white vinyl top and C-stripes.. He's the second owner (bought it in 1978 for $3,300) Trailer Queen is the only way to describe it. He always bitches about putting miles on it! I can't wait until I inherit it.

  • 5 people drive Hondas haha

  • Must be nice to be rich lol

  • MMM MMM Goood. Love that sound.

  • Take a wlk on the "Wild Side"

  • Jihhz een my pahtz

  • nice car i hope to get a 69 hemi road runner im a die hard ford guy but i always wanted to drive a hemi to school and next time power shift it unless your scared of scattering the tranny

  • This car was in Megas XLR?

  • love the car personnal I like the challenger somewhat better, I dont know why its so important to have numebr "matching" I have two beautiful muscle cars I mine only concern to be frank is to get the attention, and it runs nice, am I wrong, I dont care about price/money I just love driving them

    ps

    you have a beautiful car

  • This is how it's done :-)

  • GOD DAMN!!

    SEXIEST CAR EVER MADE!

Don't tell me where you live or ill steal your car :P

  • Damn what a beautiful sound, can a Hemi play the pipes or what, it's like music to my ears. I like the lic. plate sporting the correct color name for 70 Plymouths. Although Dodge used the same color, I think the Plymouth color name is much cooler than, Dodge's "Go Mango", it sounds too much like the name of a soft drink, in my opinion of course. Maybe that's why Chrysler gave Dodge "Hemi Red" in 71 rather than Plymouths Tor-Red, I guess that kind of makes up for it

    Super sweet car.

  • hey bro! awesome video! and an even more awesome car, check out my ORANGE 1868 shelby GT500KR, its ORIGINAL and better, ORIGINALLY ORANGE, 1 of 3 in the world ; )

  • @joeycr88 Great looking KR!! Sounds nice too!

My son loves Mustangs, so I just picked up an 07 Shelby GT500 conv. Blue w/ white stripes to add to my collection.

    Enjoy your cars!!

  • @zgusto hey i love the 71 cuda wanna adopt me and buy one to add to your collection? honestly nice to see someone that can afford one of these and isent afraid to drive it the way it was built for. its a damb shame all these cars are now is convosation pieces for rich people and just sit in garages away from people like me who dream about them. your a good man good luck

  • @joeycr88 Like...wow dude, I mean, with an outlaw like Billy The Kid or Jesse James pulling a bank heit and make an easy get away in a 1868 Shelby Cobra...you know?...Like...AIN'T NO SHERIFF OR DEPUTY CAN CATCH THEM...You know what I meen?!!! I mean...totally awesome, man...

  • @grumpypant hey, cheers bro! yeah i love the car.. just added a few videos yesterday.. i love the hemi cuda too... od like wanof those ; )

  • @grumpypant aweome stuff.. im always watching your video! hahahaha i have added new videos take a look ; )

  • Hahaha great!

  • someone just bought an original unmolested one(needed restored) off a guy i know......he bought it from some lady, had it in his barn,.....as is .just found out he had it all this time!!!!!!!!GRRRRRRRRRR.......sold it to some Lucky F*ck last week!.....thats not the first time i missed out on RARE Supercar........

  • man if i want to buy a plymouth hemicuda just like yours how much will it cost me?

  • @HollyShito These days, if you want as an original one as this is, less than 200k. If you go for a NOM block, probably 125k? But who knows? At one time, i turned down 300k..........don;t care though............cause I love this thing!

  • the video would be much much much muuuuuuuuuuuch better if it didn't switch between showing us the car and showing us the information. tell us everything at once and get to the damn burnout haha

  • this car is a fucking miracle!

  • ohhhh damn thats a nice car!

  • holy shit that could deffintely tear up any german piece of crap on any nice strecth of road great car

  • Hell Yeah that's the spirit " drive it like you stole it"
