@Reaction92 Stock FD's are a great daily driver, nothing puts a smile on your face like it!! Will be a little harder on fuel than the 8, because even though you say to yourself you wont boost it..........you inevitably do......a lot!!! ......If you maintain it well, it will run perfectly fine for a daily. Go for it........But buy a good one!!

@Reaction92 I'd recommend keeping the 8 as a dd, and picking up an FD if you could. I own an 8 as well, and inevitably, you'll want the extra seats and such. I mean, they're both great cars, but they do have somewhat different purposes. Plus if anything breaks on the FD, as with any older car(I actually just went outside and fired my Mx6 up, to find out the clutch line is leaking. Just an example..), you'll have the 8, or vice versa.

Nice video! It's more of an FD3S Tribute then an RX7. Oh well, still nice job. I prefer the FC3S myself, but this made me kinda rethink that. Kinda. There's something about seeing an FD3S go side ways that, i just can't describe...FC's are my first favorites when it comes to RX7's and FD3S' are close behind. I hope I can own one or the other some day!

If you want to buy an FC just go out and get one. For a 1986 series 4 RX-7 you shouldn't pay any more than $1500 for. I paid $950 for mine.

no, i know there's not much difference but there is a type r, rb and rs in japanese and australiasian markets. everywhere else just had rx7 and spirit r. spirit r only came out in 2002 and had all the good things of all the rx7 fd sub-models

Swiggity Sweet!!! I own a 2005 RX-8. I'm planning on dropping in a FD3 motor in it someday. I'm hungry for my buddy's skittle (SRT-4). Not too many N/A cars can pull and handle like the 8. However, it seems like the only cars that pull up to me are cars with force induction. That's OK, maybe one day I'll drop in a 2.0 tri-rotor. Or maybe even the king of rotaries, the quadrotor 2.6!! dont listen to him, if you really want a quad rotor , when theres a will theres a way ;) theres a straight forward way to convert 2 x 2 rotor 13b engines into a quad rotor i believe an engineer in new zealand has released a series of dvd's on working on 13b engines aswell as how to convert them to 20b (tri rotor) and 26b (quad rotor) if you want one thats the best way to do it
