  • Ours is a Series 3 also but we changed its front to relook it.

  • wat leafs do u have

  • looks and sounds an absolute treat. Sod the Disco.

  • Just watched all your videos of your Stage 1 doing its thing. Lovely to watch. Some good driving too. I learnt to drive in a series 3, loved them ever since.

  • rad

  • It is actually a Series 3 Stage 1. But I put county doors on it because I wanted wind down windows and I pulled out the old wind shield, cut the divider and fitted a single pane of glass.

What always gives it away is that it has leaf spring suspension... so... uncomfortable.

Next car is a 1992 discovery which I am in the process of cutting down into a Ute. It is going to take ages to finish though because I need to fix the gearbox and engine of this car first....

  • woohoo getting a 110 end of next month. need some baisic set up ideas. start with wheels and tyres i guess??

  • it looks like it has locking diffs front and rear. Am i correct? Also what, if any, suspension changes did you need to do to fit those tyres.

  • Just a front maxidrive locker. The suspension is 2" lifted, that is it. No guard chopping required!

  • what about rear lockers. What model tyres (english spelling of tires) do you have fitted?

  • As below, 33" x 12.5" Mickey Thompson Baja Claws. They are getting pretty worn now though! My next car will either have silverstone extremes or Simex Extreme Trekkers :D

  • or insa turbo special track?

  • should have bought a 90!

  • nice work. just discovered the tracks around the Glasshouse on the weekend. Met some of the landrover club Sunday morning. Some nice rigs.

    Mat.

    (prado green)

  • nice

  • mm shiny !

  • Hey man, awesome Landy! You're on AULRO aren't you?

What make/model and size are those tyres?

  • Thanks! Yep I am on AULRO, pretty cool forum.

The tyres are Mickey Thomposon Baja Claws and are 33"x12.5" in size on 15" rims

  • I do like your landy. did you make the tray yourself?

  • Thanks! A lot of hard work and hours has gone into it... not to mention money! I didn't make the tray myself, however it is due for some modification as I keep collecting trees and the sides of banks with it!
