So stupid! When a person is blind, all of their other senses are heightened. Plus that kid has been rubbin up on that lamb day after day for probably years. He would surely be able to notice the different smell of the animal, or the the fact that the dog is much larger than the lamb. Not to mention the fact that eventually his hand is going to touch the belly and feel the dogs fur. AND the dog doesn't make the same sounds! And he'd have to be a little curious how they suddenly have fresh meat!

I wasn't going to watch this film...I knew where it was going to go, but I have and it was good. Thats reality. We eat animals, cute as they may be. And as to the ending...well I don't think the boy WAS fooled. I think he knew it was the 'dog in sheeps clothing'. When life takes you so far down...you just deal with it the best way you can.

That was crap. I live in country Australia and call bollocks on this film. Obviously written by a city dweller. And by the way - did they think that because a person is blind they are also stupid? That dog would have been three times the size of that lamb. If the boy were blind he would know the shape of the lamb not just the feel of the wool. Tip to winning at tropfest: Pick something that's high on the current "controversy list", make some 'bold' statement (cliched and derivative), and win.

I thought the use of the lamb was very good, it is a metaphorical representation of the childs innocence and also the lamb is indicative of sacrifice.
