I recently purchased this pipe, but have not recieved it to install yet. I am wondering if those whom have bought this pipe had to do anything with their EFI or fuel/air ratio before installing?
@pchesterjohnson re-mapping will always get the full potential out of the pipe, if it breathes more it need to drink more. But you can run without tuning, just won't get full benefits.
@jupdope not sure what bikes you've riden in the past, but I have one of these. Torque is good down low(3000rpms) & hovering at 6k rpms+ is great power. If you've never ridden a fast bike before this bike will go fly through gears before you can remember to shift. Handling is ok. The stock tires need a big warmup time to get great grip. It's also pretty easy to scrape the pegs. I recommend a new seat for 2hr+ of straight riding & a small windscreen for freeway/fast riding. Hope it works out.
The bike still has the catlist converter before the slip on. Is that right > Sounds great anyways. Ride safe, yl

On your website there is only a full-system exhaust available for the gladius, while this one is a slip-on one. What kind of system is it finally??

Ty, great exhaust. Might get one next year (I feel like I should break the bike in with stock exhaust first).
Must've been a cold day too... u can see the rear tire move (oil's cold). & u can see the condensation on startup.
