When I cropped the image of Perrier´s playing with Paint Shop Pro and illuminated the picture I saw that the bassline seems coming out of Eminent. I thought that there would be an ARP2600 keyboard between the Memorymoog and Eminent but Perrier surely looks like if he´d play the bass from Eminent 310 upper register. ;)
Yeah, JMJ did play the bassline of Equinoxe 7 -Toleranse- with JV90 (which he used as splitted MIDI controller for the solo and bass). I noticed that when the concert was released in Finnish TV in ´95; I taped it ;) And again, JMJ used the JV90 for violins (& some pads?) for Oxygene 7-13 album in 1997 :) I have an XP80 tho...
the bassline intro on Equinoxe Part 7 is awesome. I'd love to know what synth he uses for this. The concert video shows Dominic Perrier playing it on a memorymoog. But Equinoxe was released in the late 70's, the memorymoog didnt come out until the early 80's.
Why oh why hasnt ALL of Jean Michel Jarre's concerts been given the remastered DVD treatment !
Very pleased I found this as I have the whole video on VHS but really sorry to hear the Houston / Lyon Concert is not going to be released on DVD. (might just have to make a back up of it then onto DVD!!) IMO this is the best live version of Equinoxe 7 even though I really like the Concert Pour Tolerance 94 version (at which I was there to hear it first hand. Thanks for uploading and sharing.
excellente version

Besides the Equinoxe 7 from Place de la Concorde this is the most best concert
versions of this tune :) @oxygene65 And btw, Perrier doesn´t play Memorymoog for bass track but a keyboard (ARP2600) beneath it :)

The bass comes from the ARP 2600!

@oxygene65
Jarre used either an ARP2600 or a Minimoog for that bassline :)
