DS has fun games, but it also has a lot of shit games (hannah montana, games based on tv shows, etc). PSP has a lot more exciting games to choose from.
I have them both, and if you like import games, they're both region free, and there's plenty of fun import games for both. As far as multimedia goes, yeah, the PSP is the clear winner.

Eddie90 I'm playing Phantasy Star portable 2. This is like the one of the best games ever. Been playing it for like 80+ hours lol. How do you ignore the big blocky pixels smacking you in the face when you play your games? And what good is 5000 games if you can beat them in 4hrs? Know why grown adults like the psp? 5 words. DS has games that are crowd friendly, people get amazed when i play them which kinda makes me feel satisfied. DS's RPGs maaaaaan...so PLENTY of classics! it's also better to watch movies(352k bitrate), read ebooks and play music with it's touch screen controls. it can be turned to an organizer, a calculator, and voice recorder. One friend of mine has recently changed her PSP for a nintendo DS. And I think she has done the right thing since the ds is much more fun, has more games that you can play with your friends.

i dont no look at the sales, DS dominates, in australia the psp has sold so bad that shops only sell a limited amount of games for it, i'd say DS because it has a vast number of games that are availible, i do have both

I don't mind low graphics, I still love my Gameboy, the black and white one. It's not laggy, the DS has a better multi-player system, both local and online. I used a flash cart to playback mp3s, videos and pictures. Piracy isn't my thing. There are things that the PSP excels at.
Let's just both agree that they're better than the the iTouch for gaming

There are is only like 5 or so games that interest me on the PSP.

REALLY DUDE.... *calms down*..... ok just think about it, the ds games are low graphix , and they are all cheap and laggy, ALL the psp games are great graphics and the psp is not only good in games it holds picture , video, music, it has INTERNET BROWSING, it has online games and i havent even sracthed the surface. PLUS u can hack it to get FREE unlimited ds games... so honeslty, *no offense* but really dude... if u think ds is better .... well........

I don't mind low graphics, I still love my Gameboy, the black and white one. It's not laggy, the DS has a better multi-player system, both local and online. I used a flash cart to playback mp3s, videos and pictures. Piracy isn't my thing. There are things that the PSP excels at.
Let's just both agree that they're better than the the iTouch for gaming

But anyway ya the DS does have more games like you said earlier and the psp doesnt have as much. Oh and just forget the itouch when it comes to gaming, id prefer my gameboy COLOR over that thing . Well I lost my gameboy color somewhere in my closet. I still have my advance though. Lol I stopped using my mp4 just because the only thing it had over my psp was its E-book reader.

@TheIronBj well the fact is ds is better as it has twice as many sales and the games aren't laggy pokemon has been nothing but solid since the start, plus I don't recall chorono trigger and 50 other games being laggy unlike xmen legends 2 on psp laaaaaaaaaagggggg fest and yeah if you download illegally yes they will be laggy and there are only 2 games which genuinely lag in the ds libarary and they are the crystal chronicles series

@nightmareofkaitos Yes all that is true...But the psp may have little games but each game is made with great graphics and hard working effort (if you know what i mean) and the psp is a multimedia device...I could listen to internet radio,browse the internet,listen to music,watch videos, view pictures,and more and more. Honestly the DS has no comparison to the psp....now if it was the DSi...well ...hm.....

@TheIronBj well the ds and when I see the ds I mean all variations or skus including dsi and dsi xl is better than psp all variations or skus because there is more of a variety in the games. But that isn't to say that psp is without any good games it's just that nintendo secured the better licences and the psp makes a crap browser yes it's ok for movies I use mine as a mobile movie player and internet radio quite a bit it's just that as a gamer psp isn't better than the ds for what I want.
