I have a BMW 325is from 1995 it has 230,000 miles and the engine still makes 190 lbs of torque according to a gtech meter and several runs. The stock engine screams to 6800 and really im sure I could drive about 15 to 35 mph faster then this fellow and that torqueless engine. I have a bone stock IS and although the interior door panels look like crap the sound of that engine screaming as I go past 4 bangers is priceless. It aint a vett but its my slice of heaven Halealeuya!
you should be stabbed gutted and hung...you remove a engine crafted by the best engineers in the world and replace it with some mass produced lawn mower engine
explain how your tuned honda engine can produce more power than the tuned Mpower engine!!
why take a good car and put a jap snap crackle and pop engine in? maybe its because the jap cars are shit!! especially if you crash it!! so maybe its an ok idea taking a strong car and put an engine that can rev higher and go faster.... bla bla bla, but id like to see your honda engine at 180,000 miles on the clock and still run as smooth as my original engine!
its all a jap sales pitch as u should know it isnt hard to surpass the hp of a 318 its only a 4banger if you swap a more powerful engine and maybee turbo it youve got it made....hondas suck i drive one
I drive a BMW e36 318is myself, and to be honest, the japanese motors tend to last longer, and you can tune them a lot cheaper than a BMW engine! I love both BMW and japanese cars, that's why I quite like this mix!
@Emiliodigitalnorth Thats funny if you look after any engine it will last a long time... I have known BMW's to do will over 300,000 miles on a single engine :-)
@spahiudrifter remember to replace those suspension componets and keep those control arms under 100k miles on em. I grew up with a 325 4 door e30 eta Man keep it going !

You are going to need more than that to beat an 328i.
DarkSoul346 2 years ago
well that's a good one,but mine it's better,i'm just putting in a Supra engine this week on bmw 316i e36 Lreg(1994)
spahiudrifter 2 years ago
@spahiudrifter How about you spend the money on the engine in ur 316i and not put a supra engine inside it and ruin the car ;-)
rvsgamer 2 years ago
I'd rather have a 328i than this sort of conversion even though the 328 uses more fuel
