@Axelerator4000 It's complex. One player is the RTS style player "Commander" who watches over his units giving them buffs, revives, heals, and can use two weak "builders" to make structures. He can also debuff foes, give directions, and more.
The other players play in FPS/tps and are there to break the enemies' stronghold and wreck shit up.
The game was made before HoN by the same people, S2.
It's an amazing mash-up that requires good teamwork and a competent commander.
Once i played as a Builder and placed a turret abit out of a big fight to protect myself while my depot were up and i shot very much, i got a about 5 kills killstreak because very low enemys came right into my turret xD

This can run on normal computers right? U don't have to have REALLY good graphic cards? If I can't run BFHeroes but cna run BlackShot I don't know what I can play.... IDK WHAT Y COM IS BUT ON FRONT IT SAYS HP vs17 will it run?

I'm downloading sav2, but i play sav1 too, it's the best game in the earth. i dont expect much from sav2, many people says that it sucks. i know you cant leap in sav2, but is there npcs that give you gold to get better units? what's the fighting like? is it just spamming buttons? is there buyable weapons and items? how to activate those special attacks?
I found a Savage Full Enhancement. It was portable, and that's why I tried it. It was really addicting to play when I wasn't at home. There were a few times when I even caught my self playing it nearly till the morning :| I'm going to download this one and try it, but I guess I'll like it. Anyways, I hope to manage to put it on my USB, that's the way I tried the first one anyways...
This game is seriously awesome. The gameplay of it is just addictive, a quality a lot of games these days are lacking. I always play builder, one interesting thing to note is that the builder has a higher hit than the Savage.
Now he attacks slower and has less base HP, and no special melee combat skills, so obviously the Savage is better for combat, but the builder is no pansy in a fight for sure. Running around building stuff and mashing enemies with my hammer is my type of fun.
While I'd say 'best class' is a matter of opinion, a Malphas, the gigantic fire demon is obviously the most powerful unit, but at 20 frags, he's costly to lose. As far as standard classes go, they are all pretty balanced, and fill their roles perfectly. Grunts run right into battle, builders and healers provide support, scouts sneak in and wreck enemy bases. etc etc. Teamwork (ie staying with your squad leader, listening to your commander) is key.
There is no best class - just whatever fills the required role. You aren't locked into a particular class so you can choose what's needed as necessary.
thats cool, i think i'd enjoy scout most.. im still debating on downloading the game or not, im running out of space on my comp..do you have to pay, or put any time into the game getting items/weps/armor or w.e?
I think you're approaching it from the wrong perspective. Savage 2 isn't an MMO, and thus you don't have to grind to get anything. The items, units, and abilities that are available to you are based on what structures your team has built (in an RTS-like tech tree). A chunk of it is available from the start of each match.
What exactly is this game about? is it 2 bases and creeps vs. like HON or something else?
