  • Great video keep up the good work.

  • thnaks

  • Beginning with the Dr. Suess ripoff was ridiculous.

    But I like it.

Great advice once again. I'll be here all freaking week taking notes. Thanks a bunch.

  • another very helpful vid. thnaks guys!

  • great! works perfect for me but 10 feet seems a little to far for my small cheap studio =)

    funny guy

  • how does it cerve off the the wall like that

  • two ways:

    rounded board

    sheet

  • great! really funny.

  • That was really interesting - nice video!

  • Great video, but do you know the excact colorcode for the green paint to order from a hardware store?

  • Great video - but a 10 foot distance from wall, with front lights - is not achievable in the average UK garage / rooms

  • Excellent! Informative & entertaining. Thanks! :-)

  • Love it. Thanks making it entertaining.

  • I'm not into all the cutesy-poo crap. You obviously are a talented videographer, but spare us all the fluff and give us the information straight.

  • Keep this kind of garbage to yourself, whiner.

  • I just call it like I see it.

  • Coulda done without the poem.

  • You're fantastic! Entertaining and educational!

  • He speaks funny.

  • you know in the last part did he use a green screen or any other color cuz does it have to be the matching color of your backround or what

  • Thanks. This was perfect. Huge Tip, Keep it small. Thanks again.

  • we have a red blind like the shade of red that you used but it didnt do anything- I made sure all the light was equal and stuff

  • maybe it's because the blind isn't a constant colour, it may have a light pattern on or something like that.

    I dunno.

  • oh well thanks anyway :)

  • No problem. ^^

  • Great tutorial!

The sad thing is your cheesy car commercial was better than most! :P

  • Good job, cleared many doubts.

  • Hi, I have really great ★★★★★ videos, but the problem is that YouTube is so big that hardly anyone knows they exist. (That is, except for my 125+ subscribers). So check out my channel, you don't know what you've been missing.

  • Well-presented video, likable host... however I'm still detecting a lot of green spill on the subject. Perhaps a follow-up video demonstrating how to get rid of that would be helpful to your viewers?

  • loved the intro......and thats about it lol

  • Check out the new jackass channel!!!

  • yaya my entire bedroom is painted that green colour!

    it shall be easy.

  • Nice three point lighting set up.

  • Loved the episode!

  • I think it's pretty nice, but pretty expensive!!! :o (specially on getting the studio) :p

    Thanks, though.

  • Boring!

  • Did you know CONCENTRATION CAMPS have been built Inside the USA, and there are plans to implement MILITARY CONTROL of America??

Why would the government build them and make these plans if they don't plan on USING THEM?

I'D say it time to get armed.

See my profile for more info.

  • Blue is more high quality in my opinion. Has anyone noticed there are little spots sorta around someone in front of a green screen?

  • I've done some green screen shots before and everything works out fine. But when I go to edit in the background there is a fine outline of green surrounding the person in front of the green screen. Is there a way to get rid of that, or does it really depend upon what editing program you use?

  • what about green seamless paper for a green screen? it's cheap and comes in wide rolls.

  • That was very helpful for building a green screen, but how do you do the background images?

  • google green screen progrems..

  • Add this video to jamzee playlist to put on myspace - Check out my website!

  • you rock. i'm subscribing...

  • wait.... but how do u make the screen have like the videos or pictures

  • you use an editor that has a chroma keying ability

  • what would we do without technology??? :)

    this is cool......

oh and so is this art

    watch?v=V77CkS2s_EM

  • Read more would be my guess.

  • Reptar is from the cartoon called Rugrats. =)

This has to be the best green screen how to I have ever seen yet. Thanks for making it. =)

I am looking for a new house and I have plans to make a room double for video production but I think I might paint the walls the blue color instead =)

I am newly addicted to green screen but I need a lot of practice still. =)

ooh you did the Ipod thing. Awesome. I have tried that once or twice with mixed results.

    Nice dancing. =)

  • Wonderful! Thanks, Perry!

  • Jessica Alba underground video in 1st vid response!

  • HAHA DR JUICE!!!

  • Reptaur green! That's seriously the win, right there.

  • Green screens make the rockin' world go round.

  • I think it is Really cool you are sharing tricks you have learned! Thanks. Good work! This should be a classroom video for highschool and college film classes!

  • Do you need a specific program to change the wall once you've started?

The rest was helpful though 5/5

  • This video mentions one thing that a lot of other green screen vids miss-MOVE YOUR SUBJECT AWAY FROM YOUR GREEN SCREEN!

Still didn't mention the other big thing which is, use a wide aperture to get a shallow depth of field, which will blur the green and pull sharper keys. Otherwise, Good work Perry.

  • 5/5 Stars Equals AWESOME. This will actually help me alot, event hough I'm no rookie to Keying;)

  • 5/5 nice

  • cool

  • DJTV is the best show. I've seen this a long time ago, and I'm glad that YT has featured it.
