Vale, es raro que un chico de esta edad toque una pieza tan compleja y encima con una venda tapándole los ojos, pero aparte que se equivocaba con algunas notas, tampoco tocaba al tempo de la partitura (se aceleraba o iba demasiado lento). Todo esto, en un examen de piano lo valoran y creo que a este chico no lo hubieran aprobado... (Toco el piano desde hace bastante mucho tiempo)

Not to burst a bubble, but when I play a piano piece or a violin piece, it's sort of mandatory to play with eyes closed so you can show the emotions or what not... all musicians should be able to do this.

This boy has impressive technical capabilities, however, this performance only adds to the ubiquitous 'mass killing' of beautiful music. If anyone is wondering why they decided not to play the beautiful middle section, its because its not fast and furious like the opening.

Most people cannot appreciate music unless it is technically demanding, If I have to play for people, I cannot play a slow piece without them getting bored, because almost no one don't know how to appreciate slow music.

ok i am not better than this kid, i am not thaat far off tho. i'm not dissing his performance one bit, because that song itself is wonderful, but after learning a piano piece, playing it blindfolded is nothing... ur fingers have muscle memory just like almost all parts of ur body. every motion becomes so natural that you play those notes w/o thinking. it is just a tad more difficult when making large jumps accross the keys, but still, not too much worse. that all being said, he's still amazing.

That perfomance was without soul, way too fast paced, and playing blindfolded is really no biggie since most pianists learns from the beginning, not to look down when they're playing.

He does have alot of talent since Fantasie Impromptu surely isn't an ordinary piece to master.. But imho he killed this fantastic piece with his eager to impress...
