  • the name is Bossa by sunrise and its part of the Brazil Electro mix from the Ueberschall website. I have it.

  • I remember this music was still being used in the 2007-2008 season.

  • The Oilers were winning.... WOW!

  • I REALLY REALLY REALLY WANT this music... the songs they play and tidbits of music they play when leading into commercials.. and the KIA RONDO game file song.. shit, this music is great.. does anyone know where i can find ANY of these songs?? thanks for posting this video by the way you read my mind!

  • They are all probably from music library CDs. I once emailed the CBC asking what the Up To The Minute music was called and where I could get it, and had no response. Read mwkmn's comment below and you'll find the answer you need for this music.

  • @wuzzlevideos CBC never replies to any viewer inquiries.

  • @tvlondon Eventually I asked on the public CBC blog and somebody followed up the query! I was amazed!

  • If anyone still watches HNIC frequently (I do!), there is another song in the 2nd intermission in Game 1 of 2, and another song in the 1st intermission in Game 2 of 2. Does anyone know what songs those are? Thanks.

  • if i am correct, its a slower song with a hard beat

  • It's found in ueberschall's sample CD titled "Brazil Electro"

  • where did you find this brazil electro cd?? i cant find it anywhere?

  • I know it was composed by Orrin Isaacs (remember him from the Open Mike show?), but not sure what it's called...

  • They use that on those Raisin Bran Crunch commercials too.

  • its not the same one, but they use the same first few notes
