  • the ssc aero is not legal for the street, that's why the veyron is the fastest car in the world

  • also the ssc doesnt have air bags, ac power windows, power door lock etc. it basicly a big fast gocart

  • The SSC Aero is the fastest car in the world but no 1 said that is the best the Veryon i the best ssc aero has nothing in it just metal and so the veryron has alot more yup ssc might be the fastest but the Veryon is the best........ oh and the SSc is faster by like 3 or 4 secs so ya

  • This Veyron looks very strange. Maybe its replica? This one doesn't have Bugatti badge on the front, and original Veyron doesn't have oil cooler on the left side.

  • You aweful jackasses! This is definitely one of the fastest cars in the world. If there is anything faster it's by such a small margin that it doesn't even matter. The companies try so hard to get that .5 edge on the 0-60 or top speed. This car is a fucking beast, that's a fact. That's all that matters. And YOU"LL never have one. Maybe. Anyway, what's the point of arguing about which car is the fastest?

  • The Veyron is indeed de fastest poduction car NOW.. it will move to be the second if this new Barabus TKR is launched to market. It's powered by a 6.0 V-8 Twin Turbo with Dual Intercoolers and it's claimed to achieve 60mph in less than 2 secs.!! it doesn't have the pedigree of the Veyron though, it looks like a mix of a Saleen S7 and a TVR. Veyron Rules!!

    lol, this is an 8 liter W16 with four turbos and 10 (!) radiators!!! (an intercooler is so similar to a radiator, will let that pass)

  • Yeah but I prefer the Veyron which is also Double Intercooled... the Barabus is just a racing car.. the Veyron is a car with elegance and etiquette which makes it different from the rest. It's comfortable and luxurious.. look for the SSC Aero which was now named the fastest production car above the Veyron.. achieving 414km/hr... factory claims it gets to 437

  • Actually the veyron is quite a bit faster then the F1, .6 for the 0-60 and almost half the time to get to 200 then an f1. Plug is half correct, its 100 mph not 200. Also gas milage is almost the same epa highway is 16 on the F1,  on the veyron. Still like the F1 more though, love the seat in the middle idea and the fact that it could be driven every day without a hastle.

  • I'd pick the bugatti anyday(if I ever had the money LOL)

    If u let a maclearn F1 up to 120mph the bugatti from a stand still would still beat the Maclearn F1 to 200mph!!!

  • actaully no. they are nearly even 0-60, at 0-180 the bugatti is about .25 faster, and the bugatti has a top speed around 250 while the F1 is about 230...the f1 is getting these numbers running on less the half the fuel that the bugatti does.

  • well just for some good info: the Koenigsegg CCX twin supercharged V8 gets out- 806bhp and 920 Nm; while the Veyron- 1001 bhp and 1250 Nm; so yeah its got more, but what i was saying was that considering the number of cilinders and turbos they probably could have gotten more out of it

  • Also keep in mind that the CCX is nearly 800kg lighter than the Veyron, thats basically a Lotus Elise less weight.

  • Well it's kind of obvious why. They needed to perfect the awd and transmission to even be able to take that power. Anyone can make a huge engine with obscene power, the problem is making it work. THAT is what the Bugatti accomplishes. I is a rolling testament of modern technology overcoming classis problems, all dressed up in posh leather and exquisitly detailed metals.

    Ferrari did comment how it wasn't going to play the horsepower game. Poooook pok pok pok.

  • its sort of cheating though, just wacking a massive engine into a car.... im sure ferrari and co could make a car that fast, i mean, a supercharged V8 Koenigsegg CCX does 250mph, so they didnt do that great a job with 16 cilinders and 4 turbos after all

  • The engineering behind this car is worth every penny. Videos don't do it any justice. Bugatti and Volkswagon must have spent a few hundred million on R&D alone on this car... I know -- I have been under its hood... Ferrari better catch up or they'll all be speak'n Bugatti!!!!! LOL cheers!!!
