One of the best written ballads EVER. Not too cheesy, great lyrics and great instrumentation. Geoff Tate's vocal range is one of the best ever. I watched them perform this song live in at the Los Angeles Forum in the 90's. Even though some of the orchestration was pre-recorded, the performance was amazing. Geoff's voice was just as good live.
