You should check out "DIVA" an All gal Big Band from NY City! Excellent too! Don't know if they have anything posted on You Tube. They call it "No Man's Band"!

Thanks your comment. I don't have DIVA's CD. But I know DIVA Jazz Orchestra. Their performances are more exciting than BFJO. I'd seen Sherrie Maricle and her quintet Five Play at Renaiss Hall of Okayama Jpn on Apr 2006.

I dig this new tempo=great execution. Gutsy alto solo-nice piano solo too. This rhythm section really knocks me out-the drummer and bass have great synergy-really lay down a nice groove for the band. 5 stars.
