Hey jazzbunny, you obvioulsy know nothing about how the EU works. It is not remotely democratic for several reasons. We cannot remove people from the council or the commission who are actually responsible for law making. The MEPs are allowed only to make amendments which can be disregarded by the commission. The EU court of justice has not a single professional judge in it. The court is actually allowed to change laws. I could go on and on. I suggest you go and do some serious reading.
