i have to say that 5:16-5:40 is some of the most beautiful music making i have ever heard. +1 tchaikovsky +2 for Wunderlich. it's a shame he had to leave this world just as his career started to unfold. =(
Although I think German is a harsh-sounding language for singing when I hear Gedda or Wunderlich singing I feel German is as elegant as Italian or French.
