@wacfilms Lol try 23-24k BASE level....that means without shit in it and a V6. A good packaged 2SS is around 40k+ with full options being like 45k. Better off getting a fully loaded SS Cobalt and paying 20k. Light car and with it now being turbo charged it puts out 230 HP which is very nice to start with. Frankly 2010 camaros are not original and bore me to no end. I own a thirdgen which I adore and I recommend you by 1st 2nd or 3rd gens only. Everything else is too common and played out.

You also have to remember that there is a corvette. GM purposely doesn't invest many resources into the camaro. The late 90's was is a good example. GM accidently gave the camaro 350hp so it just advertised it as 305 in order to keep competition low between the camaro and the vette. I would rather pay 30k for a camaro than 50k for a vette and have close to the same Hp. Now the vette gets the powerful engine while the camaro gets "hand me downs".
Yea but the Camaro isn't an exotic performance car it doesn't need 700+ hp besides that the Vette is Chevys flagship car and probably sells more than the Camaro.

I like the camaro a lot better than the challenger. The tail lights on thechallenger look a little too old fashion for my liking. Id have to say chevymankiki has the cars in perfect order.

Well, I don't know. That used to be the case more often but these days they aren't making "concept cars" like they used to. I think the Camaro is a campaign not a concept. I think this Camaro will have some surprises but be pretty much as is.
i have a felling that when in goes into production they might change the gages and not have as much crome. i like the tach and spedometer but i dont like the idea of the other gages in front of the shifter. but all ik is im gettin one

I don't like the high prices these days - but a Camaro for under $28,000 will be a pitifull excuse and not worthy of the name. The prototype they are promoting will go for $40,000 at the absolute least.
I really think that the average non-enthusiast couldn't tell the difference between a 67 Camaro and a 67 Mustang. Car resemblance is nothing new really.
On a slightly different note, a couple months ago Hot Rod Magazine printed a reader's letter that pointed out a very strong resemblance between the 06 Concept Camaro and a GTO concept from the late 90's early '00's - inferring, correctly, I believe that the 06 concept Camaro IS the former concept GTO with a "camaro" facia.
when it comes out GMs going to over price the car and try to sell it for $45,000, thats what killed the camaro 5 years ago, for ever gaymaro sold FORD sold 35 mustangs, thats sad.

actually, the production car is reported in the latest issue of popular hot rodding to weigh in at 3600 pounds which is under what most people were estimating it to weigh, and it's under or the same as what most cars weight today of the same size and performance.

Yes, they used this for Transformers. For the most part though, it's actually a 2005 GTO - completely reworked to look like this.

There is no 2007, 2008, or even 2009 Camaro. The "2010" Camaro came out in the Summer of 2009. This is one of 2 or 3 prototypes Chevy made in 2006.
