I highly doubt Hitler would have sacrificed his other and only other battleship for operations against the allies on dday hell he couldnt even get up in time to respond to the allied landings

really good one, , although she did not have a great war record as such, the amount of punishment she took was more than just about any other ship

she was nearly constantly being repaired due to allied attacks,

this ship managed to tie down more of the RN than any other ship afloat any where in the war,

and the amount of lives and matterials used , is more than was put into the destructioin of any other ship afloat,

ohhh what is that fantastic music, bit ..old spice, ish!!..

Awesome video! Tirpitz was a awesome ship. Had she not been sunk She would have been sent out to attack the D-day landing force and would have been a catastrophe for the allies because Tirpitz probably would have decimated half the invasion force.

@RMSTitanic87 No...just no. She was indeed an awesome ship but she would only have been one against thousands. Musashi, a much larger battleship, tried to do this in the Pacific, and was intercepted and sunk by aircraft far before ever coming into range.
