Removing your comments huh? At any rate, those boards are illegal to ride on public streets. It's as simple as that. Private property is the only place you can legally. Me a wannabe cop? Not really, just someone that knows there are laws in place to protect others and yourself from harm. Riding down a public road on something with no brakes = FAIL and asking for trouble.

Completely untrue. and the author removed my comment not me. There are some very good methods to stop including sliding and footbreaking. You don't seem like you know much about longboarding at all, yet you seem to think you know everything. You are concerned with kids skateboarding on public roads (which is legal in many cities, local laws aren't national) yet it is very low risk. In both videos the drivers of the cars have made blatant mistakes, yet you blame the longboarder who is in his lane

the driver purposely assaulted him with the automobile. And yes foot breaking is a slower method of breaking but you also have to consider that you go faster on a longboard than you can on a bike. i see how the boarder was at fault but its not his fault some dumb ass decided to hit him on purpose. and it is true that longboarding is not illegal in some states and cities.

That fucker went on the wrong side of the road to hurt somebody for no apparent reason.
That wasn't assault, that actually happened. And even of it were illegal, they still hurt somebody and broke the law by driving on the wrong side of the road towards on coming traffic. If anything, he caused much more problems than the longboarder ever could.
