hi there Chan Siu Ki... I'm Jimmy from Msia... please enlighten me with HK football... currently I'm studying in college but I have a dream of playing professional football... so, would it possible that I play in HK Professional League... and the requirement and stuffs
Hong Kong Clubs always welcome players to have a trial.I suggest that you may send your basic info. to different Hong Kong football clubs and see whether they can give you a chance .
But you are a malaysian ,why don't you try in malayasia league first?
Thanks for ya reply :). I guess I'll take a trip to Hong Kong to pursue my dream...
Things are different here in Msia. Our league is full with scandal and stuffs. Case of unpaid salary, discrimination during selection and other nonsenses always happen...
Is there any requirement to play for Hong Kong league? Like, should I first become some profesional player before I join or something?
HE DOES have extreme talent, and depending how it is handled, he will turn into a very good player. He just needs to lift more weights before going to England, he's too soft.
1.Chinese league is extremely bad. (No offense) Its comparable to good U-17 teams in America, and America is bad at football. I want to see him in the J-league first
2.His shots are wayy to weak for the big leagues, any good keeper can stop them easily, but that's not a problem because he'll learn soon enough in the Spurs trial.
3. His runs and positioning senses are incredible
4. He needs to be more aggressive, or he will get crushed.
He plays in Hong Kong League instead of China League. From my point of view,I don't think China clubs are just comparable to u17 teams in america(no offence again...)Because South China, the club which Chan plays for, defeated LA Galaxy around 2 years ago.And as a hongkonger,I also have to conced that the football level of China is better that that of Hong Kong
and a few of China clubs are really able to confront the best few japan clubs.Actually the level of China league is not low but China national team's record is really not ideal.( I am only a football fans from HK and no any intention to challange you)
OH well, what matters is that he has a lot of potential talent, and hopefully the club handles it well unlike the legendary korean defender who was about to go to barca but was restricted by his club. Dong Fau Zhou or however you spell it failed horribly at Man U, yet he was one of the best in China. Chan Sui Ki's skills are fine but needs to become stronger, anybody would be able to push him down. And, theres a lot of scandals in the China league. lol.
Yes,some china clubs always require high transfer fees which make their players cannot play other clubs in higher level leagues.I also think fraught with gamlbing scandals is one of the very main factors that China football cannot go to a higher stage. But I truly believe South China wouldn't spoil the prospect of Chan because of money^^
Don't forget players attitudes. I remember some guy spit on the referee or something like that. lol. Hopefully, all the corruption goes away in the next few years.
I agree, some chinese players are really not capable of controlling theimr emotions on the field...
Do you know recently China FA was even considering stopping the league for 1 year in order to inspect the corruption cases and arrest all unethical players involved in them

@asianoutcast87 You really are an outcast, it seems you appear to know very little about football in general and especially Asian football. He plays in the HK league, and yes the HK league is a bit like a Youth team. The Chinese Jia league is significantly better, it is more like the English League One system, basically 2/3 on the Pyramid systems of league football in Europe. It'snot his aggressiveness that needs to be tackled but his physique and stamina. He will struggle to keep up to pace.
Please don't label people before you even talk to then. I know plenty about football and watch it, play it, and follow it. But you are correct about one thing, I don't know a lot about the HK or the Chinese league. The most I know about asian football is the national teams and the J-league. And then I know a bit about other leagues in Asia.
And about the player....read my comments better please. Becoming stronger is CALLED PHYSIQUE. And what I said was based on his videos, so I wouldn't know anything about his stamina. Please be more attentive when you read other peoples comments. It helps everybody.
Well Done!! manichexstam, you are nice that also put the contact for agent . Dear Agents and Foreign Clubs: He is the best striker in Hong Kong, no/very low transfer fee and low salary, not world class but have great potential. Your club will automatically add 7 million fans after signing this player!
he's not very good ..

He played a friendly match for Hotspur.
Thought he didn't score,he was praised by his teammates, like Robbie Keane, because of his good performance.
