  • I wonder what the inside looks like.

  • lovley looking ladies

  • I live down the street from him to see his house is a normal thing for me

  • neat!

  • Ale se chałupę jebnął

  • my dad's company did a lot of work to king's house when the previous owner had it

  • is he in there? it'd be funny if he threatened you 'TURN THAT FUCKIGN CAMERA OFF!!' *clouds form in the sky/roars of thunder*

  • where,s his car "christine" ?

  • I live near Stephen Kings house. :)

  • I was in Bangor twice and visited his house! Once in Juli 05, right in the big summer heat and then in Feb 09 right after the big snow storm. Everything was covered in piles of snow, even SK house. Just a small path to the garage on the driveway. And both times he wasnt in...probably in his summer home in Palm Springs, FL. But it was still exciting to stand there!

  • Lmao his house fits his personality :)

  • @spotdathief Lol it kinda does

  • @daspoon456 I'm from Saint John,NB, which is near the NB/Maine border and Bangor is not too far after that.

  • I'm so glad I'm not rich and famous (well, just famous, lol); It'd be a little awkward staring out my window and seeing some people looking at my house and videotaping. LOL. I love Stephen King's books (most). He's such an awesome writer.

  • stephen king is awesome writer!!!!

  • weird things go down in stephen kingsbedroom

  • Does he still allow Trick or Treaters at the house? He did when I lived up there.

  • yeah, can u imagine going trick or treating at Stephen King's house?! what did he give u 4 candy when u went?

  • I can't remember . It was so long ago. I do have super 8 video of it . I will put in up when I transfer the video

  • nah man i read that he doesn't go for that anymore...

  • Not any more some stupid kid tripped on his stairs back in the late 80's and they sued him. His lawyers said it would be too much of a liability to allow trick or treaters anymore. Because of some fucking stupid retarded kid!

  • @TELEVISIONARCHIVES trick or treating at stephen king's house...WOW, what was the decor like?

  • It was just like going to any other house . I have home movies of it and I will have to transfer it some day. The house is creepy looking from the outside but it wasn't decorated any other way then that.

  • @TELEVISIONARCHIVES Really? Know ing SK, it seems like he would do more than that. Still cool though.

  • It was so long ago . When I transfer my home movies it will tell me more. I believe he stopped doing it however because so many people showed up. I met him at a Red Sox game a few years back and talked to him about it. He told me something like that. I still have the autographed baseball he gave me.

  • @TELEVISIONARCHIVES That's awesome! I hope I'll get the chance to meet him some day. The guy is pure genius.

  • I want to live next door to Stephen King!

  • i saw this house last year in bangor maine. it was kickass, his gardener drives a fuckin mercedez

  • Shattered4807, I find it funny that you seem to care so much.

  • I imagine that at this point the Kings are pretty used to it as are their neighbors. The fact that the house has the gothic fence says that they know people will be coming by gawking around so they gave them something amusing to look at. The Kings also know that some people are wrapped a little more loosely than others and I am sure they have some state of the art security happening to keep the spacecowboys at bay. I admit if I were in Maine I would check it out but respectfully and then leave.

  • I find it very creepy that all sorts of people go to his house and point at it, take pictures etc.....

    people can be soooo Creepy.

    CREEPY

  • bugsy,

You came to this link to gawp at his house too, so dont be all 'high and mighty', pretending you're not interested..lol.

Guess what buggs...You are creepy too!!

  • actualy I thought this was some sort of new story he had out.... then after clicking I realised what was realy going on....

  • Yeah no offense meant bro.

I visited this video because in his novels, Stephen King often refers to Bangor Maine and more recently in his book 'On Writing', he speaks of his houses.

It's interesting to put a face to the name as it were! Nice house though, from telling a few yarns!!

You should read 'On Writing' if you hav'nt already, lots to do with his life and writing style, and a vivid account of his accident..

  • I wish I could be there and see the house of Stephen King too....good job!!!

  • I grew up in that same neighborhood, about 2 or 3 miles away, and my parents still live there.

  • I just recently got some pictures of his house. My cousins live about a mile away on 16th street. I was there just last week and I gotta say, it's chilling but at the same time cool to be in front of.

  • sounds funny

  • Did you say he is sucking up all the noise?

  • Yeah, that's what I said. It was really creepy that the neighbourhood was soooo quiet! lol.

  • those "dragons" are gargoyles...

and im surprised "IT" didnt come out LOL

  • Yeah, I know they're gargoyles. My friend thought they were dogs, or something, lol.

  • i wish the camera was still

  • Sorry, I was just using my digi cam. And it was only 8 in the morning. ;o)

  • if i was steven king i;d sit on my front porch with a shot gun.

  • Well, then, I guess I'm glad you're not him!

  • how do you know thats his house?

  • It's a pretty much well-known fact if you're a huge Stephen King fan such as myself.

  • Really gothic style.Interesting.
