  • I hope you make more videos. Your instructions are clear. You have a nice voice. Thank you.

  • Great videos! I am very interested in how you hold your yarn and knit/purl ergonomically when using more than one color such as in double knitting or fair isle. Can you do a video on this or let me know? Thanks!

  • Thanks so much for posting this continental style of knitting and purling. You did an "AWESOME" job. I love your technique because it definitely benefits persons suffering from arthritis or in my case left shoulder impingement. The only thing I could not catch in your video is how you hold your yarn. My tension wants to get very loose unless I put my left finger out and hold the stitch I'm working with my middle finger until it is completed. Thanks again for posting and I'll keep practicing ;)

  • I hope it helps! Also if you vary your method (in the details; you don't want to go back and forth between continental and English in the same piece of course!), it can help you avoid constant stress on one joint or group of joints. I know of people who've gone to the Portuguese style of knitting because of arthritis, and find it less stressful. Purling is easier and you work mainly from the purl side.

  • Thanks for both videos. I have arthritis and hope a more ergonomic style can extend the time I can spend knitting.
