He has other (state) charges pending, which can sentence him to many more years in a state penitentiary after he serves his federal time. Many serve as court bailiffs, county jailers, courthouse security screeners & process servers ~ not really highly active jobs. The fit ones you see are the patrol division. Also, some wear body armor which makes them look heavier than they really are. Nobody looks up to a fat cop, tho, and it invites officer assault if you appear out of shape.
