i find it interesting how you look at the picture upside-down,

does it make you pay more attention to detail rather than the picture as a whole, or do you just find it easier drawing upside-down?

Well I started doing the upside down drawing more out of viewer convenience more than anything. But it does help with looking at things differently.

for the most part self taught. I just spent a lot of time looking at things very very closely; and then got some guidance throughout high school, and now at college as well.
