its the off road pack on a cayyene, it locks rear diff and transfer box. the oz test would have been a std car which however has a very intelligent TB.

I love LR dont get me wrong, i race them, i trial them and i own them, however i work for porsche and when put in the same conditions the cayenne out performs, LR3, Merc, BMW and any other 4x4, its hill climbing is 2nd to none. then there is its rally performance like on trans syberian rally

Well, interestingly the Porsche Cayenne in the Australian 4 wheel drive media is not classed as a real 4 wheel drive, but an SUV. The Land Rover out classed it. Speed is one thing and I tip my hat to Porsche & also the design, but it is not on the money for it's 4x4 system. The LR you can select terain or override the system to how you drive. What's PST2....is that from Nintendo?

I dont like the new look of the new LR3. I liked the Discovery 2 better. It's much more distinguishable on the road as a Land Rover. This new model looks too "suburban. It's comparable to an Infinity. It loses it's authentic Land Rover look. Also the Discovery 2 outclasses the LR3 in the bush. The LR3. Yet another dissapointment from Land Rover. Why do they keep doing this? They need to get back more to thier British African Safari roots.

I have a 2006 LR3 HSE. It's all Land Rover, believe me. Two weeks ago my wife and I took 4 hours to travel 6 miles alone the Banie Mine Road near Prescott, AZ. I had it in Rock Crawl all the way. It may look a little fluffy, but it's all Land Rover. Believe me, I have the pin stripes to prove it.
