I may sometimes use cheats to screw around, but only after ive beat the game and certainly never online. The most i use is like GTA III Pedestrian riot or all credits on halo reach to check out the armor, but never. NEVER, online. :]
cheater is rlly annoying but the zerg player didnt harrass much, didn't block landing etc but i guess the zerg player realized the map hacks earlier in the game and thought there wont be an element of suprise anyway so why bother... the terran player wasnt that good imo

@XH4X4G3X Black ops doesnt have THAT many. Unfortunately the reporting button seems to be there for show. Saw the same guy twice, a week apart and had many people on the server report him each time. Company's that rely on their anti-cheat shields alone are retarded.

Valve doesn't accept reports of cheaters, yet games like Counter-Strike: Source, who rely on VAC alone, end up with little to no cheaters. Sure, some idiots cheat, but they get VAC'd later on anyway. If Black Ops had VAC implemented from the ground up, as opposed to the half-baked implementation it is, it'd be fine.
The key is to winning is to survive with as few units as you can, while investing the rest of your money in economy. Maphack is an easy way of achieving this goal, and that's why it's so tempting for some retards to use it.

used to admin this 24 vs24 MW - TDM server in Europe for about 2 years, after banning about 1000 people I can tell you statistics about cheaters, most of them (60-70%) are 12-14 year old Russian kids. These are the blatant aimbotters. Adult cheaters are usually good players that want an extra something, it's ironic that really good players sometimes go for wall-hack to get the super-scores.
I don't mind cheating in singleplayer games, but when you play against other players it's just wrong... people who cheat in multiplayer games shouldn't be allowed to play games at all
theres no way of telling if the terran is good or not until we see a game of him not map hacking. part of being good is knowing when to scout, how to scout, and how to respond to whatever you have scouted. however i hope he gets permanently banned from SC2.
@YourGenes Chances are the cheater has already been banned, but then again, I wouldn't know Blizzard's cheating policy from experience--since I don't cheat--and since I likely wouldn't be looking it up if I wasn't gonna cheat (in other words, why look up the rule enforcement policy if you know you aren't gonna break the rules?).

As for cheaters rebuying games - the few I've seen complain on forums about getting banned seemed to favour shoplifting, or just peering inside a fresh box for another serial key.

Hate cheaters? How about a nice friendly game with no rush 10 mins one of my first games messing around and 2 out of 3 players rush as many void rays as possible and the other battlecruisers and I am sitting there going lolwut? How is this fun? As of that I only play with friends.
