  • Okay, i really need you to answer this;

I have done all I can, and I get to the recovery console. But where you can select 1 for windows, I do not have that?!What can I do?!

  • @MrGazzness The easiest way to get rid of the blue screen is to reinstall your operating system. I dont know why you are getting a different screen than mine.

  • what about dell laptop windows xp it always take me 2 this black screen an 5 options safe mode, safe mode with command prompt safe mode networking ,start windows normally ,last known good configuration(your recent settings that work) all i can do is press enter an that takes me 2 a blue screen

  • I get as far as the blue windows setup screen, and after its done loading the cd files it just reverts to the Blue screen error page. Help!

  • @iButchy Hard drive is bad or memory, if you have more than one stick of memory, try swapping one out then the other, most likely its your hard drive though. borrow an old hard drive from someone and see if it works.

  • @BetaFlux Thanks I'll try that. I do know that before this happened my memory was pretty low.

  • @byTazzeh I think so if you set the bios to boot to the usb.

  • @BetaFlux i try booting it to usb and it say imgboot missing or something like that

  • Respond to this video... can i just download another window vista or 7 and delete the old window and everything on it

  • I'm thinking....is there a way to reset the BIOS password? ( I tried removing the small battery and it didn't work ) That may be the only way to change it back on Default

  • @SinisterAngel1 there should b little pins near the battery if you touch them together using anything metal, it will reset your bios to default

  • what should i do?...Now i have a black screen with a flashing cursor since i didn't type fixmbr in the beginning because i was afraid that it might erase my entire harddrive and instead checked my RAM

  • @BetaFlux Excuse me i try troubleshooting the transparency on the window 7 and it goes bluescreen and it restarts so fast i cant see. is there any way to fix this?

  • @BetaFlux when i click f8 nothings pop out?

  • Hey, sweet video wish I knew this 2 years ago. Anyways, with my old HD the computer would blue screen after selecting CD from the boot menu. Any ideas?

    Daniel -

  • THANK U!!!!!! My younger brother downloaded something and boy, did it literally screw-up their computer, complete with blue screen message "Un-mountable hard drive" error message. I downloaded your software and were noiw back in action. again, THANX A-LOT!!

  • @HT801 Thats great news, glad it helped, thanks for letting me know.

  • My recovery console - the version on the comp and the ver on the recovery disk = blue screen with four icons on the left 'selecting recovery option' 'hard disk preparation' 'copying files' 'finalising recovery'. It suggests I try system restore and driver roll back (multiple restarts and the bsod with this).

If I press 'no' none of the options help. If I press yes it warns that it will kill my HD.

At this stage I only want system fix not HD wipe.

I have a hp with XP... help... please.

  • Also at the four icon screen I can't press the selecting recovery options.

I suppose I'm just most puzzled why I can't get into the recovery console that every example I can find on line I get this HP PC recovery that isn't giving me anything like what you have shown.

  • @O2BSoLucky Sounds like the HP machine is launching its own version of repair options, If I was sitting in front of it I would most likely be able to get past it but I'm not sure how to direct you. you do need to get past the auto recovery to get to the recovery console you need. If you have a windows cd you can run a repair install and that should fix your operating system. can you start up in safe mode? if you do try to start normal mode what are the stop error codes.

  • @BetaFlux Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. I'll get back in touch with you with those long strings of numbers. Hopefully it will help you get a handle on my prob. I can't open in safe mode or any other mode.

  • @O2BSoLucky You only need the first set of numbers and see if the bsod list a cause or file name at the top.

  • @BetaFlux OK, unmountable_boot_volumn is the problem. I get two sets of numbers depending on how I tried to restart. OX82F73E30 is one OX822C4280 is the other. I can't recall how I got it to run showing a list of programs/files I presume it reads through in order but when it gets to the file ending in agp440.sys that is when it stops, restarts and comes up with the apologies screen.

    Does that help?

  • @O2BSoLucky That error usually can only be repaired by reinstalling windows, You should be able to run the REPAIR install and you will not lose any data, The operating system can get corrupt by your pc shutting down hard to many times. the AGP440.sys file needs to be deleted then windows will install a new one, if you can start up in safe mode you should be able to search for and delete that file or change it to agp440.sys.old

  • @BetaFlux Hey just thought I should let you know what happened in the end. Couldn't locate a copy of the disk I needed so took it to the shop. They were really nice the HD was OK but the system unrecoverable and unsaveable no matter what could be tried (so they say). So I took her home, wiped the disk and reinstalled it all. Only took a few hours. Next time she breaks she is becoming my tinker computer and I'll buy a new one.

    Thanks for your help.

The comp is running fast again bonus!

  • @O2BSoLucky Hey Lucky! I'm currently attempting to fix my Cousins PC which has the Exact same problem as you, apart from the fact i can't go in Safe mode. If u have found a way to Fix this issue PLEASE reply ASAP!! I really need to fix this problem for her!

  • Sir, I have spent 8 hours down loading every piece of crap you can think of to fix by blue screen.. By chance, I went to you tube and checked out you video.

    Thank you !!!!!

Beer on me if your ever in Tennessee !!

  • @norge1956 Sounds great If I'm ever in the area I'll let you know. Thanks for the comment.

  • I got a blue screen on my computer its a windows xp and it says something like session 5 on it can you help

  • whenever i press 1 on the recovery console i get the blue screen of death D: HELPPPPPP PLEASEEEEE :)

  • @ross2605786 Read the stop error code on the blue screen and google it for more info,

  • my laptop does not boot and makes crackilng sounds what do i do

  • @Gurstinger77 That crackling sound is most likely your hard drive trying to start up.

    have your hard drive tested.

  • hey i jst bought a new pc to sum dude n it has the blue screen of death but i dont knw the password of the administration in the recovery console

    please reply thanks

  • @ispanos12 usually the password fro admin is blank, no password.

if there is a password on it I cant tell you how to get around it. read the stop error code and see if google can give you more info on the bsod.

  • @BetaFlux

my pc is a dell dimension c521 and doesnt have ps2 the keyboard is a usb

  • @ispanos12 Yup, most likely your motherboard is shot.
