  • Heavens to Santa Ana! Quite an exciting scene! I've never had the chance to watch all of this movie...though I assume TCM shows it every now & then since it's a Warner Bros flick from the 50's & TCM owns the Warner Bros film library. THANKS for posting! The late great Alan Ladd was always one of my fave stars!

  • The best scene from a good but uneven film, especially the ending which was disappointing and inaccurate. I suggest it be remade with Russell Crowe as the star (who had been offered the role of Bowie in THE ALAMO.) I think it would be as popular as his 3:10 TO YUMA
