this was my favourite childrens book i have not yet seen the film i'm waiting for dvd i wanna re read the book just so i be all critical an be like woah thats different an stuff you wrote an awesome book and you got me hooked on dragons so thank you for writing a book that influenced my creative side in life

This movie was an amazing book adaptation for me. I think the reason why it worked was because the author went along with the producers who were encouraging changes in how the story and plot unfolded instead of fighting them on every point, she worked with them and said ok I can see why this little wimpy dragon isn't very good for an adult audience, so maybe he can use a cat like dragon of legend!!!!

I definitely like this author. Some books need changes to work on the big screen.
