  • good score man. free is the best price in town,.

  • @sisseeboy Yea it is..

  • I don't know how I've missed this video. I thought I had watched all of your videos. You are like me, you'll tackle anything. The older I get the more I look back at some of my projects and wonder how I managed to do all those things. Great job!! KEEP ON TRUCKIN.

  • @G3RIVER Yea I know. I think about that sometimes. Dang, that was a big job! hahaha. I just dove in there like it was a walk in the park. hahahahaha.

  • man you are a hard worker nice job amazing the amount of work u did

  • @jfkr77 Thanks. Got more work to do. Need to make it bigger now..

  • now if i had nevfer stumbled across this video i would have always thought that this barn was there from the start!, Good Work Rpeek!

  • I love how you kept all the original doors, windows, and clapboard intact! Most people wouldn't have done that... heck, they would have just done away with the poor thing.

  • @Jguy365 Thanks. Actually it's turned out to be a great little addition here..

  • 3 sided burn pile my foot! All it needed was a little love :)

  • @Jguy365 It's true. They guy that got rid of it said he could build a new one for less than this was worth. I think not.. hahaha.

  • Reminds me of a small barn we moved when we were kid’s. We cut the building loose, braced it, and jacked it up, drove and a 2 ½ ton truck inside, cribbed it off the truck frame, tied open the barn doors and drove it home ~ 1.5 miles.

    Nothing a like a free barn 

  • @sturdavj That's very cool.... Good for you...

  • Hey Richard i had not seen this video yet , but this is another great job awesome.

  • @outlawracer1000 Yea, this had to come before the rat rod... hahaha. This was before I learned how to do videos, or even knew what they were..

  • @rpeek Well Richard i think you doing a tremendously good job on the videos ,and the ratrod and your shop are awesome.

  • @outlawracer1000 Thank You! Yea, a lot has come along since back in the day when I did that. It really wasn't all that long ago, but a lot has happened since..

  • awesome

  • For god sake man , paint your damn house

  • @SpecialAndNotDumb Sure. It's on the list.

  • awsome job on the barn. love your rambler, she looks sweet.

  • that's the first time I'd seen that vid..looks like a lot of work, but nice!

  • @HillBillyF100 It was a lot of work, but it turned out good, and I didn't have anything better to do.. hahaha.

  • love it!

i like when the garage door went in

it started lookin like something lol.

i love your when cars had fins it made me cry for the

many old cars i've seen rotting away!

  • @joshua1954 Thank You...

  • @tyboy2400 Thank You. Yea, it was a lot of work, but it sure did work out well.. Made a great little building and with concrete and insulation and everything, including garage doors (which were also free) I've got about $1500 in it. You couldn't frame a building this size and put a roof on it for that..

  • inspirational...lolol

  • Not only does your wife let you bring cars home, I bet she didn't even bat an eye when you drug a whole damn garage home. She's great.Garage looks fine too.I hope to have one like it some time.

  • @heliarche I didn't have a wife when I took this on, and she had to wait in line till I got it finished, then had to wait in line till I got the rat rod finished before I'd marry her. After all that waitin' I figured she was a keeper so I let her tie me down.. hahahaha.. The garage turned out great. I just need another one..

  • Great Project..thank you.

  • You have got to be some cool dude , know your stuff.Amazing job transforming the 3 sided burn pile into a 4 sided beauty.LOL. Way to go bro. Keep at it.

  • @Opeysan Thank You. Yea, it turned out nice. Just wish it was bigger.. hahaha.

  • Nice job! Makes me feel better about buying a car that did not work as I wished. Now I learnt mechanic and how to work with my hands, hopefully I will build a garage like this for my home in my life!

  • @ShortyPH That's how it works.. hahaha..

  • very nice!!!

  • its a work of art Amigo

  • @LANKYNIBS9000 Thank you much neighbor..

  • Nice job.

  • Hats off to you rpeek, you had a vision and followed it. This is the way life should be. To the posters that made fun of your shop and the way your house and rod looked like, some of us could care less what others think cause we don't need others blessings or admiration. We live life for ourselves, family and friends. And I'd bet my last nickle that rpeek is getting more enjoyment from his car than he ever thought possible.

Great videos rpeek, live life full and motor on.

  • @Topstrap Yep. You nailed it. In the old days you only bought what you could afford, then you worked hard to make it nicer. We've just lived through an age where people bought houses they couldn't afford, now they can't pay for them.. Imagine that.. Go figure.. Who'd of ever thunk it.. hahahaha..

  • looks like "yankee ingenuity" to me!

  • Can't see much, editing is too fast!

  • @carlosmurphy4u That's what they make pause buttons for..

  • Great Video. I like that it goes fast and has all the key pics needed. My awesome shed video is fast like this too, lol....Nice score!!!

  • Wow! I Didnt Know You Put Your Garage Together.. Great Job

  • @MrLoco61 Yep, drug it across the ice with a John Deere tractor.. hahahaha. Worked out real good..

  • WOW - that came out real nice ! I like the side stairway / door. Nice cement floor.

  • ok I must say great work saving an old building, but honestly was that cheaper then just building one from scratch?

  • @HotRodAlley $1500 total, including concrete floor, roof repair, insulation, 2x garage doors, an upstairs storage area in the attic and wiring. I'd say if you can build one cheaper and have all that. go for it.

  • @rpeek WOW ok I'm calling you guys next time I see an old barn I can move, LOL...love your videos thanks for sharing :)

  • @HotRodAlley Welcome. Thank you for sharing too..

  • @rpeek checkout my shop Serino Hot Rod on facebook too to see our work

  • very cool nice one

  • hey great; in new zealand we called what you did number 8 wire , which means bloody clever buggers

  • I love this shed move just drag it over the snow.

  • @350vic Yep. That worked out real nice.. Thanks.

  • i gotta hand it to you, that's usin your head from start to finish. and the side shed is a classic. fellas like yourself give us a lot of hope and encouragement. i enjoyed the banjo pickin too. thanks.

  • @bracketracer2000 You're welcome, and thank you!

  • the songs ill fly away

  • great, now fix up your shack

  • I think I would have just started from scratch

  • That is awesome!!! Simply awesome!!! My garage has the dual doors at both ends so I can drive thru it!!

Great job man!! My hat is off to you!!!

  • @MrXIXX Originally I planned to keep it that way, but wound up closing off the back side when I built it.. Am thinking of adding another 8 feet or so on the back for an engine room..

  • @rpeek I got a 33 by 20 foot slab of concrete behind mine. I keep my boat and a 72 Toyota FJ40 with a Chevy 350 back there. I got my fun bus (Chevrolet Suburban), my water toys, my dirt toys and all my tools inside the garage. I love hanging out there, I open up both door and get a good breeze flowing in there, I live in CA, so that works for me.

But yours, man, I'm a little jealous! Good job! And just like hot rods or 4X4's or boats, they are never trully done, are they?

  • @MrXIXX Yea, nothing's ever finished. I like that. Gives me something to do.. hahahaha.. I'm thinking I need more garage space, and we're going to build a little picnic/porch/garden area in back there between the extension and the house. Someplace to barb b Q

  • That was amazing...reminded me of those time lapse photography they used to on Sesame Street when I was a kid! When I see stuff like this, makes me want to be American so I can drag wooden sheds through the snow too! Good work! Ramble On!

  • @DexterFishbourne Thank You! Yea, we're always draggin' something around in the snow over here.. hahahahaha..

  • Luv da shop Bradda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is great!

  • @Cragar1000 Thank You!

  • Good job! I wish my dad was as motivated as you.

  • nothing is free ;o)

  • Now i've heard it all. WHAT THE FUCK is a Rat Rod garage?!?!?!?!?

  • thats cool you salvaged a little garage. How long did everything take construct

  • About a year from start to finish. You'll notice there's snow on the ground and we drug it over on the ice, and when I have it all finished, it's snowing again.. hahaha.

  • it's in better shape than the house...whats up with that?

  • Real rodders spend more time in the garage ! Duh

  • nice job!!!

  • nice one

  • It was perfect before the rebuild.

  • that's impressive

  • I know that was a lot of work to get them in some kind of sequence. Good job.

  • I was lucky to have had the photos.. I drug the garage over here before I discovered youtube, but a friend shot a lot of photos for me, so I was just glad to have them to record this... Thanks.

  • @rpeek For a minute there, I thought that little room was a bathroom. Although might not be such a bad idea if you did put a basin in there, so you can keep all the oil, grease and dirt outside lol

  • Way better than This Old House. =)

  • hahaha.... Thanks.

  • nice job congradulations on a nicely finished project

  • Where do you live?? Looks like kansas...

  • I AM TRULY IMPRESED!

  • In a way I am too... Lookin' back I'm a little bit amazed that I pulled all that off almost by myself.... hahahaha

  • hahaha how did i not see this video, this is great.. only you could have pulled this off

  • Oh yea. Well, I needed a garage, and I guess I've got almost less sense than money.. hahaha

  • rpeek...I hope you know that my comments were not directed to you, they were aimed at "websuspect"

I live in a 106 year old Victorian, i love to see old buildings saved...nice work!

  • Thank You....

  • I love the repurposing of the old building and the thinking outside the box to get a garage for the price of a nice big screen TV.

To hell with what the detractors think!!!

    Nice work.

  • Thanks.. I don't worry about them.

  • you americans have very nice style in buildings, i really love wood buildings here in europe just stone, brick, concrete.....boring.

What use have the little room from 3:30?

  • It's just use of space under the stairs, and gives me a place to put things I might need to get to easily, like an outboard boat motor, barbque grill, life jackets and suck for the boat, things like that..

  • Great Shop! You did a great job! I like the rounded door on the side.

  • Yea, that worked out really well. My neighbor gave me the stairs, and the space underneath gives me a great place to keep things, like the bar b q grill and such. It all worked out real nice without me havin' to spend much.

  • i would like to say that it was a free garage and it looks great if you love what u do it dont matter how long it takes or what it looks like plus using what you have is great i like your garage and your rods RATRODS ARENT ALL ABOUT MONEY SOME OF USE ARE NOT RICH ITS ABOUT HAVING FUN AND ENJOYING LIFE SO YOU KNOW WHAT IF YOU DONT LIKE WHAT THE GUY DID SCREW OFF HE IS AMERICAN AND MAKES ME PROUD

  • Thanks.

  • so... is it to code?

  • Ha! hahahahahahahahahahah..... Good 'un..

  • amazing documentary of it...lots of hard work must of been put into it, and a great job!

  • Yea, I had a huge desire to building a rat rod, and no place to do it, so I was sort of driven... Got it done, got the rat rod done too, and now I'm drivin' it.. haha

  • what year is it?

  • It's a roadster built on a '33 Chevy frame..

  • nice...

  • well done

  • very nice, im impressed

  • WOW nice job on turning a old barn into a nice garage.

  • Thanks! Yea, it worked out real nice..

  • My family disowned me years ago bud.... Too late..

  • stupid comment.

  • why the fuck is it a stupid garage? what are you, 12? grow up kid, no one cares about you...

  • No one cares about a garage built out of trash. A total waste of time and money.

  • thats the thing, it wasent a waste of money, the whole point was to do it cheaply. and it turned out nicely. who are you to comment that its a waste of money...a waste of time...that was a very immature comment you posted, uncalled for...

  • Its a free country, I can say whatever i want. If I want call someone out on being immature and irresponsible to their family for dragging a fucking piece of shit demolished garage to fuck around with its my right. yeah Maybe I have interballs balls this kind of inconsiderate American behavior is why the rest of the world hates us. This dumb fucking red neck could have gone to home depot and gotten 2x4s and framed the whole thing and his house and it would have actually looked nice.

  • The world would have been a better place if your parents would have followed the same philosophy you espouse.....Trash (your dad) + trash (your mom) = trash (YOU!)!

  • Ill have to post a video on my garage sometime and let you all decide.

  • i love the rambler

  • Thanks. She's a good 'un.

  • Yep.
