I was at this concert -- in fact, I think I was sitting one or two seats to the right of the person who recorded this video -- and having never heard Darnielle or the Mountain Goats before, I was really impressed.

This song really got everyone up and moving; you can actually see Kevin McDonald of Kids in the Hall join the group of dancers shortly at about 2:37. I have this enduring memory of him running down the aisle to start dancing. Great stuff :)

Wow, I am so incredibly jealous! Did you get to see John Darnielle, wading around the ocean in his bathing suit, and walking around the deck in flip flops? I would have absolutely DIED!

Aw man, I'm so jealous, I wish I could have afforded this! D: There weren't even that many people there! You could have gotten right up to the front and seen the sweat on his face!
