  • I feel bad for that one guy. The whole musical and he still has those damn maggots.

  • They did too good of a job on this music, I listen to it so much it's like a second carreer for me LOL

  • I STILL HAVE MAGGOTS IN MY SCROOOOOOTUUUUUUUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How can i join the Church of Arnold?

  • "Tomorrow Is A Latter Day" is one of the most brilliant musical song titles I have ever heard.

  • how do u not know what this song means

  • what does the song mean?

  • @healthyholemealbread it means tomarow is a ladder say which is a play off of the ladder day saints (mormons) atleast from the little i know about mormonism. So their saying ladder day is like a better day, and they should all look forward to it. also at the end that beought their own version of mormonism to the Ugandans, which i think is showing how easy it is to make up a religion whenever you want, if you listened to the entire play youd understand

  • @gaaragirl72 thanks! hoping for it to come to the west end

  • WOBAFETTE CAMEO

  • They should do the same thing with the Jehovah's fucking witnesses.

  • @GenNormanSheiskoph lolz I know, I let them tell me thier spiel once, they decided to leave when I started talking theology because they don't want smart people, we are too hard to lead LOL There may be a God but I haven't been convinced by any religions

  • @ArticulatingMadnessY I guess he hadn't turned it off then.

  • 3:43 Wobbuffet?

  • @WatashiwaCheese Actually, it's Boba Fet.

One of the main characters made things up during the beginning of the act, throwing in characters from Star Wars and Lord of the Rings into the Book of Mormon.

  • @Heavylight17 Oh right lol!

  • Makes me wish I was Mormon... I feel so out-of-the-loop :(

  • @AverageWizard100 You should !! Being Mormon is A W E S O M E !! <333

  • I'm an Arnoldian now.

  • "Elder matumba!"

  • I still have maggots on my SCROOOOOOOTTTTTUUUUUMMMMMM!!!!!!!

  • COMIN TO CHICAGO DECEMBER 2012!!!!!!!!!!! Woooooooo

  • Please bring this musical to the westend ... I SO WANNA SEE IT!! haha

  • 4 people have maggots in their scrotums

  • @LiveLaughSing01 and they deserve it...

  • @lcowles He said fuck him when I went on Friday.

  • 4 people still have maggots in their scrotum.

  • I still have maggots in my scrOOOOOOtuuum!

    gets me every time.

  • BO BO FET!

  • I'm an LDS, I'm a big Theatre Freak! I love this musical! Even if it have some inappropriate scenes

  • Why are Mormons happy? It's because we know, there's a latter day tomorrow!

  • Wow. They changed this significantly from the previews. That's too bad. At the end, the message was very clear that the characters "grew up" and threw off the oppression church. Elder Price said, "F--- Him" regarding the church president. Elder McKinley also said, "Screw the church". I hope Parker & Stone didn't bow to pressure or soften the tone to get Mormons in seats. The idea at the end was to live for NOW, not an after life. I don't get that from this version.

  • @lcowles We don't know. The soundtrack does cut off significant lines to avoid spoilers and keep time going in the soundtrack (Wicked does this also, it keeps in some dialogue but leaves certain points out). Also, basically, that does seem to the point, they DO live for now to help Uganda, but they love and believe in faith, which is why sing about a Latter-Day. I did hear that Price STILL says that after it opened for real.

  • @lcowles It's the same in the theater. Elder Price still says "Fuck him!" =D

It's just that the official soundtrack doesn't have the in-between scenes.

  • @lcowles To my knowledge, that still happens. Ya know, cutting out extra lyrics because of spoilers and streamlining and whatnot. And the lyrics of the actual number are still the same - the message of live for NOW, not an after life, is still there. Not that it ever changed.

  • 4 people have AIDS

  • @MrHesse1979 MTUMBO JUST GAVE SOMEONE ELSE MORE.

  • Mo hanaibu eebowai!

  • "Hello! My Name is Elder Buttf*ingnaked"!

  • A sacred text, of pioneers and frogs

    FUCK FROGS

  • BOBA FETT!

  • HELLO! My name is Elder Mtumbo!

  • I'm sure this play is funny and Trey and Matt think they are trying to ruffle some feathers. But if they really want to show they got nuts make a play of Mohamed. They would be dead within a year.

  • @cwood4ever Probably. After all some people are fucking crazy.

  • @cwood4ever They already did on Southpark, numerous times, and Comedy Central made them remove the episodes from their website.

  • @SunXieMei Im not talking about a 30 minute show where we can see it got edited. I'm talking about having Mohammed up on stage dancing and kissing a pig them doing a 2 hour show making fun of Muslims. If they did this I would give them the biggest balls award but they would also be dead so..... making fun of Mormons is easy they dont fight back and they don't blow them selves up/ Look what happened to the Dutch Cartoonist. Got his throat slit in broad daylight because he drew a pic of Mohammed

  • @cwood4ever yea except these guys, Matt Stone and Trey Parker portrayed Mohammed in 4 episodes of South Park, and they were all edited out by Comedy Central

  • @cwood4ever That's totally missing the point. Trey and Matt simply choose Mormons not to be protected, but simply because they grew up around Mormons. Also Trey and Matt mean to choose something offensive but they are not having a contest on what's the most offensive, they say they wouldn't make hateful material. They also choose Mormonism because it was a religion founded in the 1800s which calls for interesting attributes within the play.

  • @AliaSparrow well I guess I missed the point, don't really care I just got back from Vegas where I lost hundreds of dollars so I'm not in a mindset to argue.

  • @cwood4ever agreed, as a muslim myself i would love to see trey n parker make one, they fukin rock. unfortunately they get butthurt pretty easily oversees :(

  • @flamevizier Explosions everywhere.

  • I skipped church today (Sunday) to stay home and listen to the entire soundtrack :))

  • @PapagenoJuan2 Not sure this soundtrack increases your chances of going to heaven. In fact, if this soundtrack increases your chances of going to HELL, than I am definitely going there. :)

  • @frymahhide1982 I was hoping someone would catch this comment :) thanks

  • When he starts singing "I believe" again I almost want to cry.

  • This song has awakened the small part of my mind that secretly wishes to be Mormon.

    I'm scared.

  • 5:10-5:25, that woman has an amazing voice.

  • "Our Church is going strong, and if you let us in we'll show you how you can belong. Join our family, and set your spirits free!"

  • This is amazing :)

  • I really hope they put these characters in south park even one episode. like the return of starvin marvin and the mormons

  • i think i heard some avenue Q harmonizing in this. =)

  • If you love The Book of Mormon

go to the face book page The Book of Mormon and like it.

  • I'm a satanist and i like this song

  • hello, you have a lovely mud hut and if just put down the gun i'll show you oh ok i'll leave.

  • "Hello! Fuck Frogs!"

  • My family forbids me to talk about "The Book of Mormon" anymore because that is all I talk about :)

  • Comment removed

  • @SnazzMaster842 good boy

  • i hear some hairspray in this song :)

  • I'm a mormon and i dig this shit

  • @Kliffi24601 oh stfu u'd love me if i spit in your mormon face

  • Hasadiga Eebowai -> Mahanaibu (?) Eebowai :3

I seriously am STILL in love with this musical. xD Even after my parents (who INTRODUCED me to it) tired of the CD and now forbid me to play it, I still listen to these. xD

So if you're sad put your hands together and pray that tomorrow's gonna be a latter day! :D

  • 4 people still have maggots in their scrotums

  • I might read the book of Arnold...

  • "We love to dance and shout and let all the feelings out!"

YES Elder McKinley, let it out! Dream happy dreams of Steve Blade.

  • I like how the sidekick is the one who makes a difference.

  • "And if you just put down the gun, oh, okay, I'll leave!"

  • 4 people still have maggots in their scrotum.

  • How about that woman singing at 5:10? Whooo... that's that some great stuff.

  • "Hello my name is elder matombo

and I would like to share with you the most amazing book."

  • 3:16-5:02

    my favorite part =D

  • I would like to go to watch it, this musical is awesome! And not is as gay as the rest of broadway musicals! IT'S KICKASS! xDD

  • What is a 'Latter-Day" anyways???

  • @1335ginger The Church of Latter Day Saints. I think it's like another name for the Mormon church. So, I assume, it's supposed to sound like lighter day.

  • @desireeandothers latter = more towards the end than current. hence tomorrow is a latter day, lawls.

  • @1335ginger latter means later, where former means before.

  • Why does this number remind me of "You Can't Stop the Beat" from Hairspray? Weird....

  • @adrainhs17 lots of the songs parody others, for example "me and you" parodies Defying Gravity in Wicked

  • @Nathpeggsy You and Me (But Mostly Me) is actually more of a parody of The Wizard and I. Although there are indeed shades of Defying Gravity in that song as well

  • @bigbenigs ive not actually seen Wicked, ive just heard Defying Gravity on youtube. im sure youre right

  • @bigbenigs I thought I heard some parts that sounded like songs from Wicked!

  • @Nathpeggsy

Yeah, I totally heard some of Wicked in this album, as well as Avenue Q. Then again it makes sense! :P

  • Elder Matoonbo killed it... Ahhh. XD

  • You know this musical has the South Park spirit with that final line. What a great way to end the masterpiece known as the Book Of Mormon Musical. Thank you, Parker and Stone.

  • BOBA FETT

  • "Hello, my name is ButtFuckingNaked." haha I rotff laughing!!!

  • Comment removed

  • This musical is fantastic! You can tell that Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Robert Lopez have studied all of the other musicals! The beginning and end of this song reminds me a bit of 'No Day But Today' from Rent.

  • I swear to God. The main character is the voice of main rat off of Ratatouille.

  • @allisonxm102 If Patton oswalt was in this... I would have flown to new york to see this and been in the front row

  • @theEmperorsTarot And paid 300 dollars for the front row ticket? And I love Patton Oswalt too but I would haveto sell pretty much everything I own in order to get the best available tickets.

  • @evsystem it was only 45 for a front row ticket. 20 for everywhere else

  • @guineapiggyman Oh I was thinking of orchestra seats

  • @guineapiggyman Where did you buy your tickets? I was planning a vacation to NYC in order to see the Book of Mormon so I checked the cheapest available seats in the next year, and apparantly they are all sold out, and they also cost 90 dollars. The second cheapest are 150 dollars and those are only available in about 6 months for now because the rest are sold out. The rest are 250 and more.

  • @Laila1314 well yeah, now theyre way higher cuz it won all those tony awards ( 9 out of 14)

  • I can't wait until they come to Seattle <3

  • paradise planet LOL

  • Damn, I wish South Park could stop for a while so Trey and Matt could work on bigger projects like this.

  • @tredlow I am convinced that the show is ending this season.

  • @PoptartNoJutsu

    Where did you hear that?

  • @tredlow I didn't hear it anywhere. But it just seems like it's about time. I would rather see the show end after fifteen great years than go on and suck. And if you watched the last episode, it was heavily implied.

  • @PoptartNoJutsu

Well, people's been saying that about The Simpsons for years, so unless there's solid news that it will be canceled, then don't get your hopes up.

Also, There's still a batch of episodes coming later this year, meaning that either the last episode does not imply a permanent change, or it does, but it won't change the show much. If it implied the show ending, then they wouldn't make 7 more episodes after it.

  • @tredlow I only say that I am convinced, not that it is confirmed. Sorry for the confusion.

  • @PoptartNoJutsu I know you're not talking about the Tony Award Winner for Best Musical "Book of Mormon" play.

  • @lbmixpro Nope. If you read the comment I was replying to, it was about South Park. The Book of Mormon is being hailed as one of the greatest American shows put out on Broadway in 25 years. I love it. =D

  • I have the last minute on repeat...

  • You Can't Stop the Beat anyone?

  • @borgqueen45 Yep. God, I love all their nods to other songs. Clever buggers.

  • @2:36 Tomorrow is a doper fatter latter day? Hahaha am I hearing that right?

  • @JustinistheWalrus "Bigger badder latter day" I wish though.

  • @JustinistheWalrus "Double fatter latter day", I think.

  • @JustinistheWalrus @TheAce707 It's "Tomorrow is a doper, phatter latter day"

  • 5:05 SHOWGASM

  • "Don't doubt that God exists. We still can work together and make this our paradise planet...!" I beliiiieve :)

  • This is hilarious, and darkly so (because, yes, people are dying horrible deaths in Africa because the big corporations in the West are actively preventing cheap versions of AIDS medication from being sold - far more important that they keep the prices high and rake in all the cash themselves than that Africans get the cheap drugs they need) but it's also just so bloody touching & uplifting - it just slays me EVERY TIME. Man. I can't think of another song that makes me laugh out loud AND cry.

  • No matter how many times I listen to this, I still giggle when they yell, "Boba Fett!"

This is the greatest thing ever. Period.

  • ; Thank You for Posting!

  • It's a great finale number. It not only resembles "Hairspray" but also "Grease" and other great ending reprises, but still very original, funny and moving all at the same time.

  • I love how "Hasa diga Eeboway" in the end is replaced by "Maha Naibu Eeboway".

Even if these are all just made-up words, it's a great ending.

  • BOBA FETT!!

  • I love that they brought back the opening number, but it means something new.

  • This musical has written itself into the hall of the classics. People will be performing this for a long, long time!

  • Actually, this song is a parody of the final song from "Hairspray" -

"You Can't Stop the Beat." Same beat and the way that each character

gets to sing a phrase. It's also a hand-clapping finish to a show.

    Brilliant!

  • @jlasf if short solos and a specific beat are all that's required for a song to parody "you can't stop the beat" then a LOT of songs parody hairspray

  • This is the greatest musical I have ever seen

  • @TheMachuli it was the greatest ANYTHING I've ever seen

  • Oh my God! Goooooooosebumps! I cant wait for the touring production to start so i can go to this show!!!

  • i want to see this musical soooo much!!!!!!!

  • I remember when I saw this I kept waiting during this song for a "I have maggots in my scrotum" and then they said it the last time and my life was instantly complete. EVERYONE THE HYPE IS TRUE. THIS IS THE GREATEST FUCKING MUSICAL IN THE HISTORY OF MAN KIND

  • Hello. My name is Elder Butt-fucking-naked.
