That was way too much work. I could not have the patience to sit there and get that done although is was pretty nice I'd sooner buy a box of press on nails and glue it on.
@MissChocolateBean you only need a UV lamp if its gel, if its normal acrylc then you dont need the lamp. At our salon we do the normal acrylic then apply a clear gel over the top then cure that with the lamp but thats only our addition to the treatment, i hope this dont confuse you lol x
@Kiarra1127 I have had acrylic nails done, and yes they can shorten them. These however are gel nails. The erence being that on acrylic nails they glue a plastic tip to the top of your nail and then apply the acrylic
the thing that goes onto the nail to make the extension is a metal extendor so when u create the nail tip it lays on that... if your acrylic is dried completely it shouldnt sstick at all and can be removed easily. and when u put it on it bends to the curvature of the natural nail and tucks underneath the nails free edge...
What is that metal thing you use for the extensions? How do you remove it? And what is the thing looking like dental floss from 3:25 on?? I´ve never seen that in Germany... thx
omg you are soo amazing, im just learning how to do acrylic since its hard for me because my acrylic dries very fast so i dont have enough time to do french tips on fourms,,, you make it look very simple!! Great work
That's so cool! I've never seen acrylic nails get put on that way, with creating your own white tip and everything. They normally just use the hard white tips for mine. Gorgeous work! :)
very pretty and well done but my nail shop would have done a full set in the time it took to do one nail with the design (with a glue on french tip) very pretty though
I love the way you have ongulated the nail bed, to give the impression of the natural nail bed being longer. Thank you for a wonderful tutorial, and taking the time to do it. :-)
thanks for this!! by the way..can u please post a vid about do's and donts in nail extensions..? using acrylic nails and powder..etc..what to use first...just the very basic way...i so so want to know everything but i cant start because im afraid to damage my nails or get infection... thanks in advance...!
that woman doesnt really need acrylics anyway, shes got lovely long and by the looks of it strong nails too, just nail art with polish would of been good, but nice design !
what was that tape that you put on her finger nail? I want to put acrylic on my natural nail, I don't need tips do I have to use a drill and file my natural nail down or can I just put acrylic directly onto my nail?
Hi-Current nail tech student here-at the risk of sounding dumb-your work is very beautiful, but if they wanted the french look, how come you didn't use a white french tip and a clear overlay instead of doing sculpture? I only ask because I'm so bad at sculpture :) Thanks for your time! Your work is lovely!
could someone explain to me how the whole style of only putting the design on the ring finger became a fad cause there were a couple of times that i went to the salon and they just assumed i wanted it on just my ring finger (kinda pissed me off) idk it feels incomplete to me and then when i told the o wanted a design one each finger they got kinda huffy about it
underneath the nails , which you used the paper thing , to paint the acrylic on for the nail exstension , when you remove that does it not stick to it?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I love it, it's very beautiful. But i don't really like to work with acrylic powders because they destroy natural nails, and the monomer smells like hell :)))... but it's awesome anyways...
That's categorically untrue. As long as you know how to prepare the nails properly before applying them, and how to remove them, they won't hurt your natural nail more than any other nail treatment.
ok than, i will gladly and fearless do an acrylic nail-design........ because i'm getting merried soon. Thank's very much for your tutourial and advice :)))

Can you shorten the nail so that the white tip is only like a cm long? I want to get mine done, but I dont want the tips to be that long.
Kiarra1127 3 months ago
@Kiarra1127 you can shorten the nail to whatever length you want, just tell your nail technician which length your after :)

So if you use a nail plate to create your acrylic tip, you don't need to use fake nail tips?
