Got mine today, it is horrible! The Wifi is 50% as fast as my Gnexus or desktop. It also reboots every couple minutes. It also flickers in the YouTube app, or if you turn it on while it is in the keyboard dock!

@stavrosph Thanks - It's the least I can do! I think the Prime outclasses the iPad 2 right now but the iPad 3 is around the corner so I'll add gaming to the comparison between the two!

dud..i heard ATP has wifi problems..is it true??whats the fix for it??and ts its actual battery lyf??can it last for a day on full charge without dock if i browse 1hr, read some books 2hrs, watch some vids for 1hr(consider 720p vids)??

@prahladvarda Some do, some don't. If you get a problem you can return it and get a new one. And yes, it lasts days on full charge.

Hey sorry for kind of spamming your Prime videos but I have a pretty important question that could cost me $600 lol. I'll be returning my Tab 7.7 for either store credit or a Prime this weekend. I won't be buying a tablet for over a good year or so after that and I was wondering wether the Prime was a good choice. The GPS problem isn't that big of a deal as I'll never be using it but Wifi is pretty important, also are there any known hardware issues? Any insight would be great. Great videos btw!

I love my TF201 running stock ICS! For those waiting for the 700, plan on spending $100 MORE than the 201! The 201 will still be available at the same price, 499/599, but the 700 is going to be 599/699 for some very slight upgrades! I don't have the dock yet, but will get it eventually. Prime comes w/ 8GB cloud storage from Asus (must sign up from Eee Pad), a free version of Splashtop HD embedded in Asus MyCloud app and a free DLNA media server and browser by Asus. <3<3<3Transformer Prime<3<3<3

Had mine for about 3 weeks, sending it back because over those few weeks I've had it the battery life was sliced in half, was getting close to 10 hours, now I barely get 5 hours. Was good while it lasted tho

I was thinking of buying my father a transformer prime as a laptop replacement (he has a windows laptops core2duo 2gb ram etc...

all he needs is covered in polaris office and autocad for which there is an app in the market.

i will also be buying the keyboard dock for him for typing+expandability.

any other suggestions/do you think that the tablet will suit his needs?

Bad experience with mine. I tested the tablet when I received it. It Failed after 4 days with no reason ! Sent it back to Asus who know does not want to repare it for free despite the waranty !

I am having a horrible time.

I have the Galaxy note phone and the speaker is in a position on the bad and in landscape mode is converted at first I was like what the? BUT I figured if you held it right it reflected that sound back at you with your hand.. Kinda like positioning and adapting your position if viewing while in the LG Thrill or Super Mario 3DS... While holding the tablet your peal projects the sound toward you.IMO thanks
