I live in Prince George so it is close to some of the places I've heard you mention ...have you ever thought about sharing your knowledge in the sense of a walk about ...in all honesty I am more interested in foraging and/or growing than purchasing mushrooms ...in otherwords learning about the ecosystem that supports the fungi ...eating within a hundred mile radius

@gaiagale : I just help lead 50 people on a forage and then mushroom dinner at the Sooke Harbour House.
I dont do a lot of walks, perhaps in the future, but it takes time avay from the harvest and I have a family to support. When I am older, and more financialy free, I will do lots more "walks" I will be in PG in a few weeks(signature craft show, Nov 4-6)
@untamedfeast ...thanks for getting back to me ...if I had known about Sooke I might have a made arrangements to participate but it is a long way and a totally different climate ...I understand 'having a family to support'
I'm familiar with the Artisan event perhaps I'll attend ...if I do I'll look for your space
