  • it uses heat to cook the fires it's been done.

  • Are we supposed to be impressed by "70% say Excellent" ? I guess its honest...

  • I jacked off to this

  • overpriced junk

  • OMG.. WTF am I watching??? Better go to bed...

  • Want to win one?

    go to give-away.co.uk

  • i was almost happy when i saw this.... oh well.

  • this is great we're going to bye one wow have been looking for something like this

  • This thing kicks ass. Although that may be because I fry chips in goose fat. Yum.

  • any thing this machine can do i also can do in a frying pan with just one spoon of oil

  • @datzfast You don't get the point in this do you?

  • @AlixxxxGxxxAl no i dont, and thats the point

  • PLEASE...someone can tell me how the electric fryer fry with NO OIL ?

The inventer must have two brains at least !! :)

  • @bnladen09 It doesn't fry. It is just like a bow drier. Not so good I'm afraid though.

  • Total crap, unreliable, stroppy after sales service, badly designed and made, overpriced and, worst of all, it's FRENCH!

It was a great idea, just made like a Citroen car, badly

  • YES!!! HAHAHA

  • Avoid poor design super expensive, i paid 150 Euro 14 months ago after 6 months the flimsy plastic latch fell off, i got it replaced it lasted 8 months now its snapped off again, the shop refused to repair as its a one year guarantee, I looked at the models on sale now and they cannot be bothered to change the design,, also why have a timer that just beeps is it too difficult to have it switch off,, French technology Avoid

  • We discussed this at work after the Watchdog programme; someone asked what I'd do if mine burnt out as mine is out of warranty. My response: Immediately go out and buy a new one. They're brilliant, they use barely any oil and don't stink the house out either.

  • We discussed this machine at work after the Watchdog programme; someone asked me what I'd do if mine burnt out, as I've had it a couple of years now so out of warranty. My response: Immediately go out and buy a new one. These things are brilliant, they use barely any oil and they don't stink the house out either.

  • It's a good piece of equipment, BUT mine is only 6 months old, used about once or twice a week and has burnt out. Still trying to get throught to Tefal...

  • What a waste of money.

Just one more thing to end up in the cupboard in the garage, along with the waffle maker, omelette pan, sandwich maker and the George Foreman grill.

  • french technology to heal fat american ...

    hahahahaha !

(tefal is from Moulinex krups tefal SEB group)

  • @alpacks actually, its the best kitchen gadget i've ever bought and i use it every day. it really works, and you can eat chips without sin. it is odourless and no dangerous deep fat and we prefer the taste. hope this helps. check out my polly pardon video if you've got a mo??!

  • go to watchdog

just bought one on amazon and cancelled

a few hours later after looking at all the complaints on watchdog and bad cs by the makers

  • People go on Watchdog to complain not to praise - don't worry about them, I've had mine for about 2 years, they're absolutely brilliant.

  • too many complaints though not to be weary about this product.

zero customer service when things go wrong.

    there are risks

same with amazon...the reviews there back it up.

    great device nonetheless

  • Good for the heart what about the waste of electric while waiting so long for chips to cook. ok uses less energy than fryer but its on for so long. Olive oil is good for you anyway thats what i fill my fryer up with

  • anybody else really high watching this?

  • @FourTwentyGanja just a lil but enough to buy that thing online :D

  • orgasm

  • im about the order one of this.. either Tefal FR7011 or Tefal FR7000... not sure what to choose.. can someone please give me some tips.. i cant cook!!

  • Here's a tip ...... AVOID !

I had one, and 4 months after the warranty ran out, it went up in smoke. The problem is well known - it has been on TV in the UK with so many machines burning out !

  • same here Nick, mine lasted 13 months

  • @Nick27272727

that s a friggin lie, it comes with 2 year warranty with where I live, never heard any issues about it .

  • get a COLEMAN personal siz deep fryer. much better.

  • Yeah a mean isnt the point in deep fat frying to cook food quicker, this Just looks like a Lazy Oven to me, and the chips probably just taste like oven chips. I dont see many ppl forkin out £150 for these any time soon and I certainly wont be.

  • Nope, they taste fried, and really nice. Its not just chips either, you can use it for other stuff, we put 6 sausages in, and it cooked them properly in 12 minutes, with no oil or anything, and it keeps the juciness in.

  • What the F--- is the point in a Fryer that takes 45 minutes to cook chips.... you could just use the oven. Rubbish.

  • Have you tasted oven chips? If you want proof that there IS a Devil, just taste a fucking oven chip!

  • It exagerrates, it takes 30 minutes. And the point isn't that it's faster, but that it's FRIED chips (oven chips are horrible) using just 1 spoon of oil.

  • is it the same as a normal chip fryer though because it looks a bit dry to me?

  • I bought one and Its fantastic I live in a flat and could not abide the after smell of a deep fat fryer This not only makes great chips it does sausages chicken and a fantastic stir fry all without smell

  • Oh, the usual "everything in moderation is fine" rubbish. Are you a nutrition expert? I don't understand why people try to convince others not to eat healthier food. Do yourself a favour and read the China Study.

  • These are fantastic. The chips are brilliant, although I haven't used it for anything else, mainly as I'm vegetarian. Also, the point about them catching fire: the fire was clearly shown to be contained within the machine. The only damage caused was to the fryer, and personally if my Actifry caught fire, I would just buy another one straightaway!

  • i am a vegetarian and I love tofu just cubed........delicious.Also eggplant, which normally soaks up the oil , is wonderful cooked in the actifry. When almost ready add zucchini , red peppers and fresh basil .yummmy

  • Where can I find this Tefal Actifry in the States?

  • I have bought this product. It's really amazing and satisfied me so much.

I love the fries that cooked with actifry.

  • did you see that dolphin fingering a horse !

  • I think i`ll stick with my budget Comet fryer.

  • how big is that spoon? is it calculated amount that patotoes absorb oil? if so, why use that cucumbersome tool? I am already with other 30%, new ad way!

  • CHIPPY CHIPS!

  • It looks like tel sell equipment...

all thats missing is Mike saying its amazing.

  • 1:06-1:08 wtf kind of gesture is that? lol hes like "gotta choke it down and make it look good *gag* *gag*"

  • It takes 35-40 Minutes to fry chips! I'll starve in that time.

  • that's for 1kg of potatoes! For 250-500g it takes 20-30 minutes. Unattended.

  • I have a cheap Currys deep fat fryer and the chips come out nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Unless you live solely on chips and nothing else, I can't see any health issues using a normal deep fryer.

  • e' veramente ottima bisogna provarla

  • Great, this is really cool, no oil ?

  • Si me como las patatas del Mc donalds, no se por que no me iba a comer estas...

  • this is some bad ass shit mane

  • ...or I could bake them in my toaster oven and just forgo using fat at all!
