I just had a Red Baron classic crust pepperoni pizza and well........it does the task of serving as a snack or an emergency dinner, but if you really feel like eating a real pizza you better order a pizza from your preferred pizza place...but now if you compare red baron with other frozen pizzas well i gotta accept its the best out of there...but you cant compare frozen pizza with delivery pizza

Has anyone else who tried the meat pan pizza notice it has hardly any toppings on it? I swear I had only like 6-8 pices of pepperoni on mine. Crust tasted like carboard too. If they were smart they would make the deep dish singles in a large size. Those are good.

Okay, I bought a RB Pan Pizza. It took 5 minutes to pre-heat my oven and another 26 minutes to cook it. Then, after it was cooked, the bottom of the crust tasted like cardboard and the rest was like chewing on a sponge. Since, they don't make cheese, I had to pick off the nasty pepperoni.

Well, I called in to complain. I was redirected to a website to fill out a form to have my money refunded. To send off the refund cost a 44 cent stamp and I have to wait 4-6 weeks. NOT THE REAL DEAL after all.

I have to say, I completely agree with his assessment. I have tried the Red Baron Pan pizza and the crust is horrible. It is greasy and soggy. I will never buy another RB Pan pizza again. I'm not hating on RB pizzas, I eat your classic crust pizzas all the time, but the pan pizzas are horrible. I suggest some of the Red Baron executives actually try the pan pizza because if they had it, they probably wouldn't be saying it's so great.

Not sure if it is the same, but Schwans (Red Baron's parent company) has a Mexican Style Pizza. So all of you who keep asking about Red Baron's Taco/Mexican pizza, that may be something to look into.

A large pizza from Dominoes (where they ordered from) is $6 if you pick it up. Even Dominoes is better than the best frozen pizza.

@MudScarf Good point, plus the $2 tip they have to pay the delivery guy can't be included in the comparison. A Red Baron pizza must be picked up at the store, so you need to compare it to a pick-up order at a pizza shop. It's not like Howie Mandel will just show up at your house with a Red Baron pizza when your hungry!

I'm not sure why the comment about the .21 tip were removed? It was in pretty poor taste to do that to this delivery fellow. It doesn't make Red Baron look very nice.

I have a question, what happened to the Red Baron taco pizzas? It may have been called the Mexican Style Supreme...

I sure miss that pizza :(

My suggestion for the next commercial, make it feel less like an infomercial. Otherwise alot of people will probably get turned off and close it out. I could tell it was an ad right away

Gonna throw it out there, Dominoes has the two medium two topping for like 6 bucks deal. So if you take that route, you'll get two medium pizzas that you don't have to go out to the store to buy for something around 14 dollars. So no money wasted on gas driving to the store, just to get this red baron pizza which is really just small. Even if you get two of them.

At our local Walmart, they have Red Baron pizzas for $3.50 on sale sometimes. That's the best time to stock up.

But really in the "war" between frozen and delivery, you get what you pay for. Delivery will ALWAYS be more expensive, but it will have a higher quality (6-8 pepperonis on a frozen pizza just isn't enough) and you also pay for the convenience of not having to make it yourself and having it brought to you.

Out of all the frozen pizzas, Red Baron does stand at the top though.

call papa johns and ask what specials are going on that day. I answer phones there and if somebody asks I read the best deals we have. $7 14" cheese, $8 14" 1 topping, $9.99 14" three topping. there is always that $2 delivery charge and you really should tip though, but of course you can call in a pick up to avoid either of those and get it yourself if the store is near you. drivers get paid less than minimum wage per hour and make all their money in tips, seriously at LEAST $2

Schwan Consumer Brands will provide a mail-in rebate of $6.99 which is their suggested retail price.

Since you are a savvy Walmart shopper, if the price placard is outlined in red, Walmart is selling the item below retail. So, your $5.47 is a roll-back/sale price.

I don’t know about you, but I generally don't make an 8 mile round trip EACH time I decide to buy a pizza - I do my Wal*Mart shopping once a week and buy in bulk (4-5 Red Baron Pan pizzas at a time (big family!) - Secondly, you forgot to add Dominos $2 fee for delivery, THIRDLY, you forgot to tip your poor delivery guy! and no.. The drivers don’t get a cent of that delivery fee.

So, it's AT LEAST $15 for Dominos delivery, it doesnt taste as good and you have to wait !
