  • R.I.P Warren Zevon goodbye god bless you

  • Fuck the monster mash, this is my Halloween song!

  • John Wood is great. Anyone know where he is these days???

  • One of my favorites. If they ever make a movie about warrens life, Jim Carey should get the lead role. I swear at times in the performance, warren reminded me of carey with similar facial expressions!!

  • RIP Warren Zevon.

  • HOT.

  • "I think it was Clarence Clemons again!" haha, what a badass.

  • great performance. great guitars. great growl. great kung fu fighting! thx for the upload.so glad peeps are still watching.

  • this has gotta be the best warren z concet video ever!

if i'm wrong, someone please correct me

  • he had such energy

  • Wtf, this KILLS! Bands don't know how to play like this anymore, except in the deep south. You got to give up a sweat. Fuck pro-tools, in-ear monitors, clear channel, venues named after corporations, and the ridiculously low db level of today's gigs. It's supposed make goosebumps on your neck, not make you wanna buy a range rover and a latte.

  • What an energy..........

  • Well clearly he started at the bottom like everyone else before him so who moved that big piano around? not like an electric guitar and all that!

  • Zevon was obviously a man's man.

  • @MDBrookman whats a mans man? do tell what you think a mans man is?

  • I was there that night i've seen alot solo acts bands etc i remember MTV trying to make us move we remined them we paid to get in RIP warren you were one of kind and i miss you a great deal but if you belive in forever than life is just a one night stand

  • You saw many strange things Man ;-))) I miss you Zev!!! Ahhhoooooooooooo...

  • thanks very much for this, i really appreciate this upload he will forever be a legend in my eyes, Rest well Zev

  • The is song kicks the shit and no fucking mistake. RIP Warren, sorely missed in a world of TV "talent" shows.

  • I love Brain Chow Mein.

I love this version. Cute reference to Jim Taylor.

  • I purchased this on DVD from Ebay, they still have it.

I'm the guy in the front with the white shirt/black sleeves ( a Joe Jackson "look Sharp" baseball style tee) at 2:05 doing the horrible clap and then at 4:45 with my old high school friends. Great show, great times.

  • And they say drugs are bad for you???!!!

  • I saw chuck norris walking with the queen!

  • God, he was amazing.

  • Thanks for posting these; awesome concert.

  • Wish I could find this on CD/DVD AWESOME show. That is what a concert should be like DYNAMIC.

  • God damn. That is all that can describe this. God, fucking awesome.

  • Great slide guitar in this version of' Werewolves" by John Wood. Warren was at his best, and not falling off of the piano bench. He was having fun. RIP with Lon Chaney Jr.

  • This is not from the "In Concert" series. This was recorded by MTV on Oct 1, 1982 at the Capitol Theatre in Passiac, New Jersey and the air date was in November 1982

  • @jdookster

Hey, I was born on a day this was recorded!

  • Looks like a clip from the old IN CONCERT series in the US. Or Don Kirschners ROCK CONCERT, but the end credit makes me believe its the former. Just a hint for anyone tracking this down.

  • Great song! Sounds awesome live!

  • The musician on lead and slide guitar was John Wood. The rest of the band personnel on the tour included: Randy Brown - Lead Guitar / Vocals; Joe Daniels - Drums;

    Larry Larson-Bass / Vocals

  • This was an MTV video, which was originally aired in Nov. 1982 and was available on VHS tape for a while, but never offered on DVD. ? It is no longer available from the distributor.

  • Is that Doyle Bramhall III (from Roger Waters' In The Flesh tour DVD) on slide guitar?

  • The show I saw on this tour was one of the best shows I ever saw. I was wondering if any of it had been captured on video. They should make a DVD of it. The show(s) that make up Stand In The Fire as well.

Thank you! I love you!! :D

  • Zevon perhaps at his growliest and howliest best...thanks for uploading, jdookster. I miss ya, Warren--see ya 'round.
