jammer dat warren zevon dood is het was een kei goeie zanger gestorven aan longkanker ze moesten die sigareten gewoon verbieden ze kosten enkel levens.
One of my favorites. If they ever make a movie about warrens life, Jim Carey should get the lead role. I swear at times in the performance, warren reminded me of carey with similar facial expressions!!
Wtf, this KILLS! Bands don't know how to play like this anymore, except in the deep south. You got to give up a sweat. Fuck pro-tools, in-ear monitors, clear channel, venues named after corporations, and the ridiculously low db level of today's gigs. It's supposed make goosebumps on your neck, not make you wanna buy a range rover and a latte.
I was there that night i've seen alot solo acts bands etc i remember MTV trying to make us move we remined them we paid to get in RIP warren you were one of kind and i miss you a great deal but if you belive in forever than life is just a one night stand
I purchased this on DVD from Ebay, they still have it.
I'm the guy in the front with the white shirt/black sleeves ( a Joe Jackson "look Sharp" baseball style tee) at 2:05 doing the horrible clap and then at 4:45 with my old high school friends. Great show, great times.
Great slide guitar in this version of' Werewolves" by John Wood. Warren was at his best, and not falling off of the piano bench. He was having fun. RIP with Lon Chaney Jr.
This is not from the "In Concert" series. This was recorded by MTV on Oct 1, 1982 at the Capitol Theatre in Passiac, New Jersey and the air date was in November 1982
Looks like a clip from the old IN CONCERT series in the US. Or Don Kirschners ROCK CONCERT, but the end credit makes me believe its the former. Just a hint for anyone tracking this down.
The musician on lead and slide guitar was John Wood. The rest of the band personnel on the tour included: Randy Brown - Lead Guitar / Vocals; Joe Daniels - Drums;
This was an MTV video, which was originally aired in Nov. 1982 and was available on VHS tape for a while, but never offered on DVD. ? It is no longer available from the distributor.
The show I saw on this tour was one of the best shows I ever saw. I was wondering if any of it had been captured on video. They should make a DVD of it. The show(s) that make up Stand In The Fire as well.
