yeah i think its pretty fair to say that you guys failed big time but youll do better this year, usa is a great hockey nation and as far as my opinion goes .. i would say that theres four nations that stands out, Canada, Usa, Russia and Sweden
we ended up at a 3ed place 2010 but i hope we'll do better in 2011 =)

@021 Is that why Team USA won the 96' World Cup? What about 2010 Olympics? The only excuse these guys can make is none that's true. The fact is I'm surprised that these guys would even lose considering it was only two years from 96 WC and it still proves anything can happen. Your claims of how Americans are terrible are false during the 90's American players were probably some of the most dominant players. I will name some Brett Hull, Kieth Tkachuk, Mike Modano, Brian Leetch, Pat Lafontaine.
@Bigglestheman the swedish ice hockey team tre kronor is regarded as one of the best in the world, our team has won the world championships eight times, placing them third in the all-time medal count., tre kronor also won olympic gold medals in 1994 and 2006, in 2006 tre kronor became the first national hockey team to win both the olympic and world championships in the same year

I don't dislike the Swedish team I actually root for them to win when a Finland vs Sweden game or any other Euro country faces them especially Russia.

@021Sweden The Canadians have such high expectations by their country to win so I can see why they do well. I hope we get our revenge in the 2011 World cup of hockey. My friend told me about when his brother lived in Finland during the 2010 Olympics and all the fins there were telling him that we were going down and that the US is going to lose when the game came and when Finland lost 6-1 they just told him that it was just a game.
