In my interpretation, Nintendo mirrored the land of Hyrule to Earth as it is right now in this little story/video clip. These so called "Gods" made everything equally and everyone lived happily ever after, then people became jealous, impatient and cruel to each other. Soon everyone was out to kill each other for the one thing they truly destined, Power. But these individuals let power overcome then corrupt them into another part of themselves. Anyway, I think its cool. Who agrees? =)

The Dark interlopers are Midna's people who were cursed to live in twilight, Link and Ilia represent Humans who warred over the Triforce and eventually the Triforce was hidden away in the Golden Realm.
