  • @spicyechidna94 i played this game and i don't know why Gerrit surrvived the fall

  • essa misao é muito facil

  • remember that this phase was the one I liked, REPUNZEL OPERATION ....... MEDAL OF HONOR THE BEST GAME IN HISTORY

  • When i was a kid and played this i thought that guys name was carrot forgot the subtitles lol

  • ahhhhhhhhh this part:') .I GAVE MYSELF AWAY TO THE GERMANS I KEPT PISSIN THEM OFF :L

  • Comment removed

  • hey could u play some medal of honor rising sun?

  • @bensumerau I'm sorry, but I don't have that game anymore.

  • can you imagine if a man could actually pull this off? he would be the greatest american hero of all time!

  • @NuMbEnCoRe1226 What, the part where one lone soldier storms an enemy mansion or when Gerritt falls ten stories and lives? I think both are equally awesome.

  • You kids today and your Halo and your Gears and your Modern Warfare. Back in my day there wasn't any blood, you could carry as many weapons as you could fit up your ass, the AI was dumber than 20 Jack Thompson's put togeather, nobody gave a crap about graphics, multiplayer wasn't an issue, AND you had to keep track of your health for more than 4 seconds!

  • @MrManBearPig1000 Oh, I totally agree. I'm even part of the "Halo" generation and I hate those kinds of games. I am not opposed to blood in games, but it doesn't enhance them in any way. Weapon limits are overrated. I love dumbass enemies who do stupid things; it's funnier that way. Graphics add nothing to the gameplay of any game. I'd take a good single-player experience over multiplayer any day. Regenerating health takes away a lot of challenge in games.

Games were better in the past.

  • @spicyechidna94 i was wondering you could a gameplay of medal of honor Ps3 someday...

  • I've gotten every other trophy for this game besides finish the game on hard. I'm at this mission right now and restarted it 3x already I keep dieing at the end with those 2 guys on the tower.

  • @Michaeltanase i have all the trophies except that one too

  • lol motivation -guard rail dissapears- woh woah woah aaaahhh!

    i thought he died lol

  • Great classic game.

  • Lol at 0:39 The soldier was quite dumb.

  • You are like a fucking ninja at the beginning

  • id give this game the award........... for having the dumbest Ai of all times lol

  • @SiIXEN037 Trust me, I've seen a lot worse. The enemies in this game aren't brilliant, but at least they don't get stuck on walls repeatedly like in other games of the era.

  • @spicyechidna94

right.... i mean, Doom 2 Ai is still better than this one lmao..

  • @SiIXEN037 Even that is a stretch. Doom 2 had enemies that couldn't take cover or even look up and their attack pattern consisted solely of running towards the player in a zig-zag line, shooting occasionally. Not that the Doom series needs smart enemies to make it good, but it's still a lot worse than Frontline. In the same vein, Frontline would be ruined if it was injected with some phony bullshit "realism".

In this level, the enemies are quite dumb, but usually that is not the case.

  • If only newer FPS campaigns could be this much fun....

  • @ledzkreep I agree. FPS games nowadays are so annoyingly streamlined I can't get any enjoyment out of them. They force me to play the game the way that the developers want me to, even if I don't want to. Some people call that "great", but I think it is poor design.

  • Where's the drunk guy?

  • @NottheFacePlease Dead, along with his friend.

  • I all ways love to fuck with the cooks, they're so stupid.

  • I love this level, but I freaking love Arnhem Knights.

  • Also, I have the game for Gamecube, but I can't get to switch back to my papers like you did. :P

  • The SINGLE best mission on the game.

  • how the hell did Gerritt survive at the end?

  • @Danox94 I know! One time, I somehow got him to land in the hay, but I haven't done it since. :P

  • headshot in form part the kitychen

  • esse jogo é muito zika !!!! (y

  • i remember that i could get past the guard that was sitting at the table and get through most of the mission without blowing my cover

  • @Rezimonk I don't doubt that. I've never been able to do that myself, but I hear stories about it often.

  • @spicyechidna94 you can do it it is possible just it is tricky

  • @spicyechidna94 Try hugging the outer wall. I've found that to be pretty effective.

  • this game is so DAMN hard on hard, lol, but im getting better at it

  • Danm :D

  • I miss everything about this game. The music, everything. I played the campaign so much that I knew every nook and cranny and trick. I used to get up at 4 in the morning when I was 8 and play this until lunchtime, eat lunch, then continue. The next day; Repeat.

  • Thumbs up if this is your favorite level!. . .

    Because it's mine! :D

  • @tommy10then yea but it can get quite hard at places

  • @dawarriorsrule Just wait until you get to later levels in the game like Under the Radar (wich is the level that I'm currently working on). The Panzershreck squad can get VERY annoying!

  • @tommy10then yes bazooka squads can be a pain

  • @dawarriorsrule Try using rubber grenade on a mission. ;)

  • So many memories... Which level was the one where you ended up at a bar and made two guys pick a fight?

  • @graysonfromohio The Golden Lion. . . and that fight was pretty funny! :D

  • Did that guy have a heart attack?

  • lol at 0:35

  • How could Gerrit survive that fall? I remember, when I jumped down for the first time, I died... Bad memories! XD Very nice game!

  • @laurens180293 i actually survived the fall, I thought I was suppose to jump and I didn't think that I would get hurt,.

  • I hate this level so much on hard. I have life in the yellow once I start. If I can get that STG I can finish but I always die before then because of the awful pistol and shotgun.

  • it is funny that every enemy has at least one weapon

  • @billyyofosho yeah and what about crazy fat chef in the kitchen lol.

  • @nasnek he has so many knifes. He is so good at holding so many

  • Oh i used to love that fucking nazi chef, i could be moving around in the kitchen for hours avoiding his kitchen throwing knives :P so fucking hilarious.

  • This is definately my favorite MOH game.

  • nice

  • That Chef always pissed me off......

  • God i loved this game, this was my first FPS, and a good one too, was only 7 years old when it was released. I really hope that medal of honor : frontline 2010 will be just as good as Medal of Honor : frontline 2002

  • @robloxguggi There's going to be a Medal of honor Frontline in 2010? OH MY FUCKING GOD!

  • The medal of honor games were so cool because you were a spy more than a soldier. It always felt like a mix of indiana jones and james bond. The music adds to i t

  • They are remaking this game!!!11!one!

  • at the end oooh he fell i thought he died!!

  • 7:27 always died there thanks know i know how to pass this!!!

  • classic or moh shooter? classic u just press r2 to reload on ps2

  • 2:15 i hated that chef dude he kept throwing knives at me

  • This was my fav level in the whole game. By the way nice video spicyechidna94.

  • why the hell there is no video showing how to pass the level without being noticed, or at least passing the guard.

  • Holy shit, those were some daft Nazis

  • Just a whif of that putrid ai and the last scene in this video is what ruined this game for me.

  • I think it adds to the game's charm. Games were a lot more fun when enemies acted like morons. In regards to Gerritt falling several stories... I can only imagine who thought that one up. But I thought it was hysterical, and I'm sure a lot of others thought it was awesome as well. :D

  • The shotgun kicks ass!

  • i remember playing this game when i was about 7. great memories plus i still have it but am syuck now :(

  • 0:38 I am sure you have a invicible cheat (So? I used it too when I played this with my own PS2)

  • I never cheat. I would NEVER upload a video that wasn't completely legitimate. What you see here is me taking advantage of the AI's reaction time. If you fire a shot and holster your pistol before the guard turns around, you'll keep your disguise. Even if you kill someone, putting away you pistol before anyone sees you will help you get away with it.

  • i always hated those dang chefs who throw knives

  • Which difficulty?

  • Normal. :D

  • That's funny when geritt falls

  • how did that guy at the pedistool die??

  • It seems that he just randomly died when Jimmy ran up to him. I thought he was drunk, but his body shouldn't just disappear like that.

  • this must of been a cheat holy fuck lol

  • No, this is a legitimate run. :D

  • i remember this mission but with less health being lost ( i played it on easy) and on the end of the mission were you have to "motivate" the guy i went and scavenged as much as ammo as i could then i realized i didnt need to

  • That is a shame. On my version of the game, I didn't even have the luxury of backtracking! If Gerritt reaches the spot where he jumps of the building, going back to search for ammo and health will be rewarded with a glitch that makes him disappear! It really sucks to have to restart the entire level because your objective vanishes into thin air.

  • can anyone get past that dude sitting in the door when you go in i did when i was seven years old what i did was crouched down and moved slowly and got in with out blowin cover i think its a giltch

  • I have never been able to do it, but a few people have claimed to have done it. It's most likely a glitch.

  • @spicyechidna94 sometimes when you get to the chief that bit sometimes blows your cover cause he throws knifes at you and then the other guys just shoot and cover blown

  • was frontline the first medal of honor game?

  • No, this is actually the fourth game in the series. The first Medal of Honor was released in 1999 for the PS1, which was followed by Underground in 2000. There was a PC sequel called Allied Assault that was released in 2002, and it came out six months before Frontline. This was the last great Medal of Honor, though. :D

  • These were the days...

  • Thanks! When I recorded this, I didn't have a DVD recorder, so I had to use a video camera if I wanted to make videos, which means the quality is not very good. However, I bought a DVD recorder last year. I'll eventually make a walkthrough of the PS3 re-release of Frontline, hopefully this fall. The quality will be a lot better than it is here. Thank you for giving this video a thumbs up, though. :D

  • @spicyechidna94 there re-releasing frontline?

  • Yes. The Medal of Honor 2010 Limited Edition will come with Frontline HD when it is released in October, but it's exclusive to the PS3.

  • I like this lvl because I can shoot first soldiers before my disguise is blowned.

  • ahh the horror!!!

  • The soldiers in the beginning were dumber than a bag of rocks. This was still one of the best missions though.

  • this is my fav lvl on my fav moh

  • Auh... I miss this game, why did i sell it ?

  • @HuGoBoZs this game has shitty graphics dum story pretty much only one charcter in the whole story barley any help in the fisrt 1 mission all the charters hide and pretend to shot. Finest Hour is better

  • "Shitty graphics"? "Dumb story"? I don't think so. The graphics are well-detailed and the framerate is high, and they look good for 2002. The story isn't exactly a work of genius, but it never claimed to be one. It's better than having a detached story like Finest Hour, which always moved on to a new character before you could get attached to the one you controlled. Oh, and before you call a story "dumb", you should at least learn how to spell that particular adjective.

  • @spicyechidna94 finest hour is more relastic, and it's real war. And fuck you man this game has shitty graphics, and they are to dramtic (and stop correcting my spelling who cares about, geek) when they die. Sometimes it takes me 5 bullets to kill one guy. And it's impossible for one guy to take out a nazi army.

  • You must be kidding yourself if you think that Finest Hour is real war. In truth, no game has ever come even remotely close to "real war", and most people who play these kinds of games don't have a clue what war is like. "Real war" doesn't have health packs or invincible allies. Yes, Frontline is unrealistic, but it's also fun. I never said Finest Hour wasn't a good game, but it just isn't as good as Frontline. I may be a "geek", but at least I know what the hell I'm talking about.

  • @spicyechidna94 well said man:) i would give you a high five:)

  • Thanks. I just hate it when some 12-year-old thinks that they know what war is like. Now, I'm not a soldier, but saying that Finest Hour is what "real war" is like is nothing short of a lie. He would probably shit himself if he got within a hundred miles of a REAL battlefield. Kids these days don't know a damn thing... It's a shame, really. Still, thanks for the support. :D

  • @seeye1tesfa so your part of the nerds sitting in front of a tv on a couch, playing with a small plastic controller, thinking they know what war is. Let me tell you, the minute your ducking bullets from a MG42 and having shellshock from the enemy shells coming your way, then I'll have some respect for ya. To many people think they know war by playing a simple video game..these people are pethatic. Have a good day

  • its hilarious when you push garritt of there! he's like, " what the heck are you doing to me!" and how does he live that?

  • how can people think call of duty is cool? they never had storylines like this

  • @Blink182DudeRanch exactly this is a great game, all games now are reliant on graphics and on online play.

  • @Blink182DudeRanch agree with u man... also the music from cod is terrible ! this is a nice soundtrack !

  • That's not true. The Call of Duty games have excellent soundtracks for the most part. Hell, the very first one was scored by the same guy who did this game.

  • 5:27 HAHAHA! nailed him!

  • I did try to play this level, but at the end i only have half live left. so when i jump from the roof. i die.

where can i find some more medical bags. ? thanks

  • Lets motivate Gerrit hilarious

    I wounder y he didnt die? -__-

  • 2:16 defying the laws of inertia?

This video brings back memories... I haven't played this game in years and this background song is always in the back of my mind XD

  • the second best game ever on my list, where zelda OoT comes first :p

  • I love that music, but it was difficulty

  • best level ever

  • The thing i hated about this level was the slow fuck. But you get to push him off the balcony so I guess that makes up for it!

  • the memories xD

  • Indeed. :D

  • James Patterson is an Inglorious Basterd HAHA

  • Haha, the guard at the main door was like "Wtf", dumb nazis xD

  • What valor! What strength! What a fiery round! Hitler might as well throw in the towel after what you did!

Good work, Soldier, you've delivered the enemy a crippling blow!

PS: The music was catchy. As for that guy in the end ... I was tempted to comment, "What a timid fellow."

And then he fell. I had no idea what to say after that. Especially when he got back up.

  • It's always fun to "motivate" Gerritt. :D

  • best war missions ever

  • This was my most favporite level in the game thx for uploading it.

  • It's one of my favorites, too. Thanks for watching! :D

  • If you played the part without killing the first guy sitting down indoors, how is your cover blown?

  • I don't know. I guess that's just how the game was programmed.

  • WTF are u invisible? or are those gurads just blind

  • I'm not invisible. It's just that you start this mission disguised as a German, so they think that you're one of them. Given this advantage, you can kill them silently without arousing too much suspicion. If you kill someone and immediately holster your pistol, provided that no one saw you taking the shot, they will just turn around and search for the possible source of inexplicable death, not suspecting it was you in any way. How these guys ever finished basic training I'll never understand. :D

  • ah makes alot more sense now thanks :) but yeah they must be pretty retarded to still not realise it was u that was responsible. nice vid anyway :D

  • Thanks.

  • stealing the show is difficult but short

  • One of the best shooters for PS2...too bad that after Frontline MOH tried to imitate Call of Duty (European Assault...)

I always tried to get past the desk guard without having my cover blown, but i never suceeded in doing so! Damn, he always noticed i wasnt Friedrich!

  • I agree. While European Assault wasn't a particularly good game, it was solid, but it lacked the fun and excellent level design of previous MOH games, and it's true that it copied the very game that it inspired. The series pretty much went to hell after Frontline. Oh, well, at least THIS game is still awesome. :D

  • same i think tht they should make more MOH's like frontline cause now i think overall COD is better but frontline is the 1st game i played on the PS2 and it was pretty much the best game i played on the PS2 and i still have it nd i would NEVER EVER SELL IT!

  • Indeed. The new MOH games aren't very good, and they would be better if they were more like MOHF. Oh well, at least we have this game. :D

  • i think under the radar is the hardest mission

  • That is certainly one of the harder missions... Personally, I think Clipping Their Wings is the most difficult, but Under the Radar is also long and brutal.

  • i actually had clipping their wings completed in one go but i will admit it is quite hard especially the bit in the kitchen with the chef nd the area near the mine

  • this is one of my favorite games and my favorite level. i agree with edikshepherd

  • Seriously though, does anyone know what was going through the developers' heads when they animated a guy falling four floors and getting up without a scratch?

    Hahaha, it's f*cking hilarious

  • I had to have played through this game a million times and I still don't understand how that dude survived falling through the railing lol

  • If we had more men like him during the war, we wouldn't have needed to have a draft!

  • Yeah, since he's pretty much indestructible

  • I've just done this one again and I reckon that out of all of the missions so far (along with Eye of the Storm & Under the Radar) that this is one of the hardest. I can now negotiate all the Germans at video point 3.32 but always have difficulty at video point 6.50, when there are a lot of Germans in a confined space I struggle sometimes. I did this one about 10 times before I succeeded, It's not the longest of missions but it's hard in places. This is your best effort I think and very quick!

  • Thanks! :D

  • This game gave me chills from remembering all of this stuff... i realy miss all the old school games :)

  • I miss old games, too. They just don't make games like this anymore. But at least we have the classics. :D

  • How much blood does this game show?

  • This game is completely devoid of blood. There isn't a drop to be seen.

  • Any blood , but this is an old good game

  • this ain't a walktrough.. it's a runthrough XD

  • While I wouldn't exactly classify this as a speedrun, I do tend to rush through the levels due to the 10-minute time limit of YouTube, since uploading takes several hours and it is less of a hassle to upload one video as opposed to two.

  • I thought I was the only one who assassinated those guys patrolling.

  • I'm OK until just after the grand hall bit and then when I get into the grounds(3 and half mins into the video) there are an unbelievable amount of Germans about...I am STILL crap with the grenades and cannot seem to focus on the enemy with them and keep missing. I am finding it impossible to get past this stage and out of all the games I have played so far this particular piece is by far the hardest I have encountered, I have tried about about ten times and fail every time, I will try again.

  • That part is very daunting initially, especially if you haven't mastered the art of throwing grenades. I'll admit this is a difficult throw to perform... You have to hold the button down for a long enough time for the grenade to reach the enemies, but if you hold it down for too long the grenade will bounce off the wall and possibly back at you. The enemies shooting at you aren't exactly helping the situation either.

  • I have just returned to this mission and it's the only one that I can't finish on normal difficulty. I struggle with this one on normal (OK on easy) and I have problems when I come face to face with a bunch of Germans in an enclosed space (the upstairs room.. your video 1min 25 and the kitchen), the silencer pistol seems to have a mind of it's own and unless you make a head shot then sometimes I have to shoot the enemy two or three times, the pistol is not good, it took 4 shots to kill the chef

  • The pistol is a very weak weapon. It's actually easier to run up to your enemies and hit them with the melee attack than to shoot them.

For taking out the chef, the best tactic is to shoot him in the head with the pistol before you enter the kitchen. That way, no one will know that he's dead, letting you enter unnoticed. From there, use the pistol to shoot the rest of kitchen staff in their heads until they see you or they're all dead. The silenced pistol is VERY useful in here.

  • I'm from the United States.

Yes, I have played through this level multiple times, so I know it like the back of my hand. I played this game a LOT. If you're having trouble with the melee button, you should try switching the button configuration. I personally use the square button on the PS2 controller for the melee attack. To combat the inaccuracy of the silenced pistol, get closer before you shoot your enemies.

  • I have now changed from the Sharpshooter controller to the easy load configuration...this means that the melee attack button is now the button 'X'..(which was the reload button) and the black round button that was the melee attack button is now used for the reload. It's slightly better using this configuration and I am now using the melle option more often. Thanks again

  • No problem. :D

  • @spicyechidna94 I have just done this level again and I'm amazed at how quick you manage to do it...I reckon it must be your most accomplished level/game, it usually takes me about 20 minutes! I always have problems towards the end when I encounter the enemy in the room (your vid 6min 50secs), I usually throw grenades at this point, I will try the shotgun instead. In addition my health is usually fairly low towards the end so I take my time so as not to suffer anymore.

  • @Joeloflunik Years of practice always helps. :D

If you get low on health later in the level, you can always backtrack to the kitchen and in the hallways before it to find bread and health packs. Just don't backtrack farther than secret hallway once Gerritt reaches the place where he's "motivated". If you do, Gerritt will not be there due a glitch that makes him disappear and you'll have to restart the mission.

  • @spicyechidna94 I do backtrack for health sometimes but I can't understand why I can only get a Bronze on this level, I always kill all of the Germans and usually finish with full health but I still get a Bronze on normal and easy difficulties. I was wondering if it was something to do with using the grenades too much so I used the shotgun more but I still got a bronze! Do you think that it's because my health gets low in some parts (into the red)? I replenish my health but I still get Bronze!
